RORY GALLAGHER – Offenbach 1978 (2CD)

Audience 8.3 – On this tape, you will hear all instruments (guitar out front) pretty clearly, not much crispness but decent bottom end and midrange intact. Slightly muddy in the middle with occasional brighter spots (definite improvement by the beginning of disc 2) throughout as the taper moves into better position. A touch of hiss is present. Not bad, not stellar, I would get it though if you like Rory’s set list during this time (Shadow Play, etc.).
