Audience 8.4 Audience 9.6 Audience 8.6 – I found the ’68 show to be surprisingly strong for the early vintage, a definite surprise even with some hiss present which could theoretically be mitigated with a re-master but you don’t want to sacrifice any highs as they are just hanging on at the upper end. The ’69 is the famous Texas Pop Festival and of course is the best sounding one, and finally the ’70 show which really surprised me, a tad distant from the stage but clear, and I rather enjoyed the live atmosphere. A great trifecta of early vintage Spirit!
