KISS – San Diego 1979 (2CD)

$23.49

Audience 7.8 – A recent remastering job has brought out much more of the music in this tape. It once circulated for a while in unlistenable quality, which is why you are probably unfamiliar with it. Now, it was rescued from the original reel to reel it was recorded on and spruced up a bit. I can honestly say it is MUCH better! That is all relative of course to the actual sound of this tape – which is average even though it’s clearer than before by far. What is happening is the music is all blended together with only vocals riding over it, to where you get distinct definition on them but everything else is hard to decipher…I mean unless you aren’t counting stadium bass/drum sound. To be completely fair, I listened to most of this show and my ears did adjust, and I started to get more out of it.
