JEFF BECK – Okayama 1978 (2CD)

$23.49

Audience 8.8 – The one thing that all the Japanese 78 audience tapes share in common is that the taper is A. Usually recording on some decent gear B. Usually sitting somewhere at least in the middle of the venue and not in the corner against the back wall and C. usually benefitting from quiet, respectful audiences (when they aren’t clapping during the songs as they did for the rock and roll acts of the time, thankfully I guess they afforded Jeff Beck a mostly non-clapping show with a few exceptions). This recording is pretty decent sounding, and I am sure it is going to sound even better once you tweak it to your liking at home.
