Audience 8.7 – Do not be dissuaded by the rating, yes there are innumerable pristine board tapes out there to enjoy but let me tell you this show is a MONSTER! I was exhausted by the end, and what an ending stretch it is. The audio is very decent with a wide stereo field which helps it. When I first heard this tape I knew it needed to be refreshed because the performance was extraordinary and in fact it was a big event at the time. I remember hearing about it and I live in Texas! So, with that in mind I worked on it and the result is very convincing and gives life to the tape. It’s not going to be the best sounding show you’ve ever heard but it will be one of the best performances you’ve ever heard. I think this is worth it.
