Audience 8.7 - A good and clear sounding tape here, some very minor crackle noise now and then but that is quibbling. This is a great tape, limited only by typical analog tape sonic limitation (where it kind of narrows the bandwidth of the entire frequency range, although it is clear, it lacks that hi-fi punch). -
Soundboard 9.7 - Does not suffer the sdbrd doldrums, it is loud and vibrant. Great! -
Audience 8.3 - Sounds kind of distant, but because it is not echoey you can adjust and then place yourself in the seat of the taper. -

Audience 8.2 - A tiny bit of overload in the very lowest frequency (kick drum) but all the music is here and pretty clear too. Decent tape, nothing spectacular. -
Audience 7.5 - Clear but lacking depth (Early Show). -
Audience 8.3 - Decent recording that has some warmth to it. -

Audience 8.4 - One of the better early Italian shows, bass maybe pushing hard, but it’s clear and energetic. Lovely stuff! -

Audience 7.0 - Compressed sound, but it’s a killer show and the first time Gabriel wears the fox costume on stage. Historic. -
Soundboard 9.2 - Good show and I love how the drums sound in this mix. -
Soundboard 9.3 - Simply a MUST HAVE if you have any interest at all in Genesis. Includes some backstage interviews, giving an amazing perspective of this epic show. Enchanting! -
Audience 8.2 - Vocals a little buried, all music pretty clear and detailed. -
Audience 9.2 - Just wonderful audience capture that really does a fine job of getting the entire audio spectrum including solid punchy lows and well defined mids and highs. Very well done! -
Audience 8.9 - A very fine recording probably made with some excellent gear for the time. So, sit back and enjoy the show! -
Audience 9.4 - I rate this one very high because not only does it capture the performance in solid detail, but it also manages to capture that indefinable thing called vibe. This show has major vibe. Get it! -

Soundboard 9.1 - Technically sounds good, bright, crisp and all that, but I am not in love with the overall sound mix. It’s serviceable though. -

Audience 8.6 - Solid, with some tape squeals here and there about halfway in that do go away. A good solid recording here. -
Audience 8.3 - Not a common tape, the sound holds up well throughout, so taper knew what he was doing. -
Soundboard 9.3 - Peter sounds superb here, the tape highlights him in particular. Great! -
Audience 7.7 - A real “middle of the crowd” recording. You get to eavesdrop on some conversations while Genesis perform their hits. Now, I will say this, there’s a lot of music to sink into here, it’s not THAT bad really. Give it a chance. -
Soundboard 8.8 - A fine performance of The Lamb here, sound quality is very good and mix is very good. You can enjoy this one, more than once! -
Audience 7.2 - Better gear would have helped this taper – when the band is quieter it is very listenable the problem is the bandwidth collapses during volume and there is already a narrow sound field to this tape so…do the math. -
Audience 7.8 - Not terrible by any means, but lacks a clear distinctive sharpness even though it is a relatively clean tape (some tape hiss but not too bad). It may be that it was recorded far back from the stage, maybe in the middle somewhere, but it does have a cool atmosphere, and you do hear every instrument well, and at quieter moments the sound is not bad at all. I like this, I can get into it, even though there are better tapes of the Lamb shows. -
Audience 7.6 - This tape is very clear but has low levels and is somewhat narrow in bandwidth. By turning the volume up, and adding some personal touches on EQ you can lift the experience to a little higher level. -
Professional Studio Quality 9.4 -
Audience 8.6 - Right down in there with the crowd, listening to the audience listening to the band. The band and their music sound terrific, the audio quality is actually pretty darn good, bright, not distorted, maybe not as full on the bottom end but the bass itself is very round but not thumping. Drums are crisp and well defined. This is actually a good recording! -
Audience 9.0 - Tremendous atmosphere gives you a crystal clear impression of what this gig was like, and it is very clean sounding like a master source was used. Fantastic experience with the only minor complaint being that there are two songs missing…it happens. -
Audience 7.4 - My oh my what a difference technology makes! I remember in the early days of my collecting music, and I mean on cassette tapes mind you, this show was one that I just would not even listen to out of curiosity. It was “file under abysmal” and that was it. Now, this new transfer from the master, and a prudent digital re-mastering has brought out actual music here! In fact, it’s not even that horrendous and you will actually listen to it. One brief moment really struck me, and it was the last fading seconds of the recording when you hear the enthusiastic shouts from the audience as the intense sounding Hammond organ notes fade out. This reminded me of just how powerful a Genesis show was in 1972, and we do not appreciate that because there are no analog recordings that can accurately reproduce that intense sound. We have to use a little imagination, but sometimes we do catch glimpses of it. -
Audience 8.4 - Certainly a keeper here, a well recorded, and clean tape of the fledgling Genesis touring behind their first LP. Fascinating document! -
Soundboard 9.3 - Well balanced and full of life, not a typically sterile board. -
Soundboard 9.0 - A good one, although not as full bodied as you would expect but I’m being picky. -
Soundboard 9.6 - Just fantastic! I have to believe this was recorded for possible future official release, it’s just that good. -
Audience 9.3 - Good dynamic capture of one of the better performances. A must have! -

Audience 8.9 - Sounding almost like a board tape with little audience interference and a good, immediate sound, emphasis on mid range punch. Excellent! -
Soundboard 9.6 - Superb sound and mix, highly enjoyable no matter who you are. -
Soundboard 8.8 - Good punchy sound if not a little heavy on bass but it’s fine ‘cause that bass is funky and snappin’ coolness bruh. -
Audience 8.7 - It’s a small to mid-size venue and a loud all-girl metal band so the idea here is to just have some fun. If you are wanting pristine clarity and dynamics, you have come to the wrong place. If you want polished, precision metal, um, yeah, whatever pal. If you wanna rock with some veteran metal chicks and get sloppy drunk, well, step right up! -
Audience 8.3 - A little bit of hiss on this tape but every instrument is distinct and knowing how few live documents exist of this band, you take it! Very very good, and the music…well, if I have to explain you probably want something else but if you know, ‘nuf said! -
Audience 8.3 - Pretty clean but somewhat low levels. Solution? Play it loud!
