• Soundboard 9.6 - Same exact setup for recording as the Evening show do the review is the same. Killer sound for a heavier rock band because they preserve the tone and the dynamics, it’s not just VOLUME up to 10 although I am pretty certain this show was very loud. The engineer needs a gold medal. Love it! • Soundboard 9.0 - This is most definitely off the radio, it has all the tell-tale signs of a radio broadcast including the FM compression (not horrible) but I also think, if not radio, it may have come from a TV broadcast. • Audience 9.1 - A recording that delivers everything that you want, especially the guitar tone which is simply glorious. You would be forgiven if you thought “hey am I listening to the Stones right now?” but remember, it was The Stones that sounded like Mick Taylor not the other way around! Great stuff! • Soundboard 9.0 - A surprisingly good recording considering that it attempts to capture something pretty untamed especially for the time. There are lots of unrehearsed punk moments here, but overall I remain quite impressed with this early Misfits music because it sounds like a genie being let out of the bottle. • Soundboard 9.7 - This is what keeps me excited about collecting…this right here. I was not very knowledgeable of their live catalog (whatever is out there, IDK) and so I did not know what to expect with this. Man, just man, it literally BLEW me away! Just amazing in every way – and the playing, along with pristine sound quality, it’s just a no-brainer. I did not know how accomplished these guys were, the musicianship is off the charts good. Very tight, very professional, and great songs for the style they play in – they even cover Lynyrd Skynyrd as a nod to their counterparts. Good, I mean, GREAT stuff! • Soundboard 9.6 - Fantastic sound and even better performance here. Look, I know Skynyrd had a lock on all things Southern Rock for most of the 70’s, but can we agree that Molly Hatchet carried the torch admirably into the 80’s?  They did. Here is proof. • A limited edition offering from Houston based ShroomAngel Records. This band was one of the "inner loop" bands that began pushing boundaries in the local scene with their hybrid style, born out of two worlds - the growing "grunge" sound pioneered by Janes Addiction (which you can hear in their sound especially vocals) and Mudhoney among others, but also in old guard punk and hard rock, which you also get reminiscences of in their sound. The music even crosses into some psychedelic territory, it's pretty much an amalgamation of several styles that sometimes adds a sort of exotic feel, but with an anxious, almost paranoid underpinning.
  • Audience 8.6 - A serviceable recording, it stays sort of in the midrange spectrum but is pretty powerful anyway. I suspect this may be audio that was taken from a video source, but to my ears it sounds better than a typical home video camera audio capture.
  • Audience 7.3 - Loud and slightly distorted but pretty dang raucous and for that I like it.
