Soundboard 9.2 - Don't assume that there is any particular period of Dio's career that is "better" or somehow more desirable. Dio was a total pro, and he always put together exceptional bands. Vivian Campbell just shreds on this. The performance, the quality, Dio up to his usual high standards of excellence - this is a must have! -

Audience 8.8 - A tape with a ton of atmosphere and electricity. The audio does not have a super well balanced mix but rather a strong focus on Dio’s vocals (fine by me) and really solid drums followed by a good mid range punch of guitar and bass. This is enjoyable stuff here! -
Audience 8.9 - A solid but very loud recording with the tiniest bit of overloaded signal that seems to make this recording jump out of the speakers with supreme force. Pretty intense stuff, highly recommended! -

Soundboard 9.0 - A very energetic show and a great tape that allows an appropriate amount of atmosphere to permeate. -

Audience 7.5 - There is some tape hiss present, and a little bit flat maybe but a great early period show that does not have the typical sound flaws (no boominess, not too distant, not distorted). It’s great for the vintage, all instruments heard, and a good jam. -

Soundboard 8.7 - To my ears it’s a soundboard, a little hissy, and somewhat noisy mix but definitely one you can get into. -
Audience 6.8 - Jim is clearly audible despite the lo-fi. -
Soundboard 8.9 - Quality of recording is excellent, although they have to tweak the mix during the show especially the beginning of show 1, but that aside, it is a fantastic document! -
Audience 7.0 - Do not expect much here, it is not a hi-fi experience at all – but it is a fascinating document and good enough to pull you in to a pretty explosive Doors show. I live for this kind of thing – a tormented sounding Jim Morrison in 1968 basically at the vanguard of the Great American Cultural Renaissance. -
Audience 7.2 - Distant and a little muddy but all instruments and especially Jim are there. Worth it! -
Audience 8.0 - Very good bit of history right here and it sounds pretty darn good too. Definite Must! -

AUDience 9.4 - First thing you notice is that you hear every instrument CLEARLY, which is actually pretty damn unusual for a band that has so much going on and has to be a nightmare to mix clearly. Well, separation of instruments without loss of power is, to me, a great recording. -
Audience 8.8 - I like this in your face recording, sounds like taper is right in front of the mains but he’s got the levels dialed in just right. This is ripping, gripping, and tripping power prog metal of the highest caliber. -
Soundboard 9.5 - Obviously this was recorded and mixed for a reason because it is really marvelous. (The Cellar) -
Audience 8.9 - Good clear recording where the highs have a pleasant chimy sound, not shrill or thin. The bass notes are very clear too. -
