• Audience 8.6 - This recording really surprised me. I saw Ozzy around this time and it was excruciatingly loud so I wondered how could anyone get a good capture unless they were using excellent mics and level control?  I guess someone did. This is pretty damn good! OZZY OSBOURNE Stabler Arena Bethlehem, PA. January 17th 1984 THE BAND Ozzy Osbourne Vocals Jake E. • Audience 8.3 - One of the better audience captures in my opinion. A strong show, doesn't hurt my ears it's very very good!
  • Audience 8.7 - This is a show that just came onto my radar, I can't believe I'd never heard it before. What I was expecting and what I got were two wildly different things...and I mean, it is a good thing. It's a good tape! It also happens to be the gig where the iconic photo of Ozzy lifting Randy was taken, and being able to now hear that show is kind of cool.

  • Cleveland 1981 is an FM Broadcast 9.2 which I had not heard before believe it or not, so, I was suitably impressed. Anyone would be appreciative! The second disc (and most of the 3rd) is Montreal 81 and is an FM Broadcast 8.9 due to a more subdued signal that does not take away any frequency range but rather slightly compresses the sound just a bit. Now I want the listener to realize that this is a subjective opinion, technically speaking the audio here is excellent so it’s a matter of personal taste in this case. The second half of disc 3 is all studio quality. • Audience 7.0 - Average large stadium rock show sound. Ozzy is clearest, and thankfully Randy’s solos are nice and present because that is what you want the most.
  • Audience 8.8 - Great, guitar is up front in the mix.
  • Audience 8.0 - Very good recording that has tons of life to it, drums sound great, bass is there too, in kind of a defined way but not providing super bottom which is fine, guitar is clear and defined and crunchy. Ozzy sounds good, this is a fine show!
  • Soundboard 9.1 - Legendary, everyone should have this. Classic Randy shredding lights out and Ozzy in fine voice.
  • Soundboard 8.8 - This is perhaps one of the most famous and well travelled live recordings of the legendary Ozzy/Randy team. It is indeed a board tape, not exactly pristine, but certainly something everyone remotely interested in this band should have in their collection. • Audience 9.3 - Fantastic! Wow, I’d never heard this one previously and it’s a real revelation. Open, great stereo pan, and for once I actually heard the keyboards and I could not even believe some of the little quirky bits that it added to the music. Just listen to Crazy Train and you will hear some sounds that are NOT the guitar, almost kind of funny. Great great stuff, this is a must have! Ozzy Osbourne Milwaukee Mecca Auditorium Milwaukee, WI. • SDBRD 9.4 - I actually believe this recording probably sounds a lot better than what the people at the show were hearing. I say that because these huge outdoor concerts did not always have the pinnacle of clear sound mixes, and ear-bleeding volume does not always mean it sounds good it just means it sounds stupid loud. I’d rather have a good sounding recording rather than the damaged hearing.
  • Audience 7.4  &  7.0 - Both shows are worth getting!
  • Audience 8.3 - This recording is super lively but there’s some crowding and crunchiness right in the middle frequencies that takes some of the clarity out with it, but it’s just a great listen nonetheless. I am surprised I was not familiar with this show, it’s a keeper.
