• Audience 8.0  - A very “live” sort of sound, what you might expect to sound like if you were there, albeit with poor seats. Loud, slight echo, a little boominess, but overall I found it to be what I call a decent audience recording. You do adjust to the acoustics, and actually can enjoy this show.
  • Audience 9.4 - Front row seat to a sizzling Pink Floyd concert. Total immersion, 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
  • Audience 9.1 - Excellent, though not quite as spectacular as the April 26 show, still you get loads of beautiful atmosphere (or as I like to call it, immersion) and detailed (if a touch loud) sonics. Get it!     (April 27, 1975)
  • Audience 8.7 - Here is a good argument for why we should be open minded towards audience tapes. You NEED some atmosphere! I want to re-experience the show, that means I want to hear it as it happened, not sterilized and filtered. I like board tapes too, but we need a balance. This recording allows me to participate with the audience and be there with them in the moment, and hear the band from out front of the stage. It’s clean, and I hear all the instruments well placed, and reasonably dynamic with just the right amount of headroom so we don’t go pegging the meters. I really like this tape, you will too. • Audience 8.8  - Some people list this as a soundboard, and if you heard the music right off you might think that too, but the audience applause gives it away as an audience tape, albeit a damn fine one. Plenty of atmosphere, and pretty solid dynamics (lush and deep bass, clear guitar, present vocals). Great version of Astronomy Domine (still performed live during the early part of 1970). PINK FLOYD – Lyon 1972 (2CD)

Original price was: $23.49.Current price is: $22.00.
Audience 8.5 - A loud and brassy sound with a little tiny amount of overload somewhere in the upper mid frequency which, if you were to choose where to have it, would be there. So, that all sounds bad, but not really…this is a very satisfying listening experience because the actual tone and ambience of this recording is amazingly realistic and gives a sense of the venue (which gives a “time-trip” feeling to it). I rather like it a lot.
  • Audience 8.3 - Has that huge outdoor stadium type sound but it helps in a strange way this time.
  • Audience 9.2 - A nice and bright tape, very clear, very clean, instantly you feel as though these tapers came with serious intention. How I was not familiar with this tape is a head scratcher because it is great. • Audience 7.7 - A rain shortened show, recorded from what sounds like around the middle of the stadium. So, it’s a little distant, a little muddled, not that great but you do get to hear everything on the stage. When I say muddled I do not mean it is muddy or murky necessarily, just that the sound is not that clear. I think collectors will want this because it is unusual, that the show was stopped for rain – although they did play more, just did not play for as long as they usually did.
  • Audience 8.9 - An infamous gig, Roger has had quite enough from a fan and spits on him. But the show – the show is a good ‘un, and captured very well here with a very clear and direct guitar sound primarily but solid rhythm section as well and some of the atmosphere does present. Its limitation might be that there are a couple of cuts and other tape related issues (few and far between) and maybe that keys get a little buried at times but really it’s no deal breaker just minor things. Highly recommend this one!
  • Audience 9.3 - This is rated so high because it is simply “mind expanding” stuff. A must own if you are into the trippier, more experimental Floyd. Wow is all I can say!
  • Audience 8.8 - Great one for all to enjoy.
  • Audience 8.7 - A very clean tape recording, sonically it is extremely good for the time period. I only notice maybe vocals being a little bit underneath the music which is not a bother when you consider that most of this is instrumental anyway…however that is a minor quibble, this is a great recording for 1970. • Audience 8.3 - Distant, with a limited bandwidth that keeps the sound from really opening up wider. It’s not the worst of the tour, the music is listenable, in fact guitars ring out nicely but the vocals are too distant. You will need to turn up the volume on this, where it actually sounds better the louder it is (strange because you would think it would magnify the flaws but it helps in this case). • Audience 8.8/9.1 - Two pretty good recordings with the second evening (July 4th) having the benefit of much more high end definition and overall clarity, with soaring headroom that makes for a generally relaxing listen, so you’ll tend to favor it more but that is not saying July 3rd is bad, it’s actually also very decent just not as clear and defined as the 4th.
