CD 1 Audience 8.8 - A very good, bright, well balanced recording. Most welcomed because for me, it’s this time period (actually 1970-73) of the band I like the most. CD 2 Audience 8.1 - A somewhat flat, and a little bit muffled recording. I can still hear everything, it lacks dynamic range, but I did not find it annoyingly so, just when compared to disc 1 this one sounds lifeless. Aud 8.3 - Surprisingly clear, at full volume there’s maybe some crowding as drums fight for attention in the mix, but basically what you have here is a great idea of what an early 70’s GG concert would have sounded like. Realistic, and the band is just so good, more rocking and less quirky maybe. -

Audience 7.5 - A tape that struggles to get better, like you keep expecting it to suddenly open up because it isn’t bad once the taper gets his levels set. It maybe hovers too close to the bottom, but you get the sounds of everything on stage, maybe vocals a little behind the mix but so what? It’s Gentle Giant, you want the music parts mainly. I think fans can appreciate this early gig. -
Audience 9.0 - This band is certainly an acquired taste for many, but every ear can agree to the quality of this recording. Airy but right there in a very comfortable mid range with very detailed high end and a smooth, round bass. Terrific! -
Audience 8.8 - Previously available as a single track, Watcher Of The Skies was merely a taste of a tantalizing recording that has now been painstakingly restored from the original master cassette and it reveals much more than collectors could have imagined. Soundboard 9.0 - A good one, although not as full bodied as you would expect but I’m being picky. -
Soundboard 9.7 - A good, bright sounding board and not completely lifeless and flat. -
Soundboard 9.6 - Just fantastic! I have to believe this was recorded for possible future official release, it’s just that good. -
Audience 8.4 - Certainly a keeper here, a well recorded, and clean tape of the fledgling Genesis touring behind their first LP. Fascinating document! -
Audience 8.3 - Not a common tape, the sound holds up well throughout, so taper knew what he was doing. -
Audience 8.5 - A touch of tape saturation but pretty powerful sounding and the drums sound great! -

Audience 9.2 - Just wonderful audience capture that really does a fine job of getting the entire audio spectrum including solid punchy lows and well defined mids and highs. Very well done! -
Audience 8.9 - A strong tape here, with very open, spacious sound and pleasant high end. It could benefit from more bottom but it’s not what I would call “thin” sounding.
