Pro FM Broadcast 9.2 - Both sets are great, both in performance and sound quality.  Really great musicianship! I also found myself really enjoying the songs, since I was only very familiar with their evergreen hit “Green Grass and High Tides”.  I saw these guys in 1980 and they were great but I was so young I just can’t remember the songs. Soundboard 9.8 - There would be no reason why a professionally recorded Kraftwerk show should sound anything less than near perfect because let’s face it, unless you are a complete moron, it would be hard to screw up their mix. It’s pretty basic, and because of that what you have here is pretty darn good. We only had 21 mins from the 'Somewhere in Europe' LP and then 38 mins from a rebroadcast in 2015. This is the complete show from a radio programme called "We're Going Out Tonight" with no radio DJ talking over the music or tuning. Very likely recorded before being broadcast on the radio. Of special note is Florian's use of the Votrax VS-6 "Talking Typewriter" as Karl put it in his memoir for "Die Sonne, Der Mond, Die Sterne."

Audience 7.8 - Recorded on what sounds like a realistic cassette deck, it’s limited in dynamic range and clarity. It is not, however, a pile of muck and murk, you can hear pretty much every instrument, and guitar cuts through during solos but rhythm-wise it’s behind the sound a bit. Vocals are clear, I get drums pretty well, so it’s not a waste of time and it’s a great tour with 25 or 6 to 4 being their latest blockbuster smash hit.  I would get this if you appreciated the band during their initial rise to stardom, as the joy in their playing does come through on this tape. Audience 8.7 - Electric and palpable, from the band on down to the audience members, a solid gig and a pretty enjoyable recording with a terrific bass response especially. In the pantheon of Yes shows, I’d have to rate this performance as transcendent, and a great reminder of what Patrick Moraz contributed in his brief tenure. Audience 8.7 - A very good tape, with brightness and decent clarity, although maybe slightly crunchy at the very top of the high end (cymbals) but not too much.  It does lack just a bit of mid band warmth and punch, but once you get about 10 minutes in, you will adjust and realize it’s pretty good, especially for those with EQ’s in their system because then you can round it off a little. Audience 9.2 - All three shows are recorded with high end gear, with a respectful audience – and the results are decidedly excellent. It’s a joy to listen to these shows, back to back, and just marvel at the grandiosity on display.
