• Soundboard 9.6 - Great live mix, like it was recorded for a release. Drums are tight, guitar is slamming, vocals perfect.
  • Audience 9.5 - Astounding! Not just for the excellent sound but the dynamics are so present here, you get lush, rich lows and then all the way up through the spectrum including detailed but not sizzling highs. Combine all that with the energy of Tusk performed with a marching band at the LA Forum and man, yeah, this is the stuff! • Audience 7.5 - This is direct from the open reel master tape. There is some limitation to the capture (slight oversaturation) but I would say this is a pretty fascinating document.
  • Audience 9.1 - What a find!  This tape exudes raw power, and hearkens back to the original sound and style of the band much more so than what would be just a year and a half later. Does that mean it’s a raw blues rock show?  No, but there is a lot of that here, and more than that it’s the TONE of the band. Gritty, mean, raw but tight…fierce!  The quality of the tape is VERY good…well worth snagging!

  • Audience 9.4 - Exceptionally well balanced, this recording features very tangible depth and nice clarity. • Audience 8.7 - A very low generation tape (very clean) used here, and it is very decent sounding, You will get some big hall atmosphere but it’s manageable.
  • Soundboard 8.8 - A little hiss, some compression (not too much), and a rather dry sound (a pure board feed, no crowd noise present).
  • Formed in Dallas, TX. in 1970, they were very active gigging and recording (several 7" singles) and built a good size following by the time of their pinnacle in 1976. Their lead guitarist, Randy Nunnally, had even attracted the attention of National act Ted Nugent and was asked to join Ted as his guitarist for a tour. Unfortunately, at that same time, Randy was diagnosed with ALS and went downhill pretty fast, passing away a few short years later. This CD contains music found on their 7" singles as well as a fantastic live radio broadcast. All of the original master tapes were lost in a fire, this is all the music that could be found. The CD is dedicated to the memory of the late, great Randy Nunnally.
  • FM Broadcast 9.3 - Terrific all around, for fans who haven’t heard much of these guys live, this is a real good place to find out about them. Good, solid, tight, nobody can deny them their status on the FM airways during the late 70’s. Firefall Amazing Grace July 4th, 1978 Illinois FM Broadcast 1. Nickel And Dime A Day 2. • I don't know much about this one other than the CD was issued in 2014 by Non Nobis Records and is an enhanced cd meaning it contains a video and photo gallery as well.  Imported from UK, CD is SEALED.
  • Audience 9.0 - A really fine attempt to capture a loud metal band in a small club. Thankfully it seems the taper came prepared, he found his spot and delivers a stable recording of the entire show.
