• Audience 8.4 - Great fun this one is! I know because I was there!
  • Audience/SBRD 8.8/9.3 - This is the good stuff. Both shows excellent, the Osaka aud. tape is quite good, very lively and clear. The band is in their prime, they had loads of confidence and bravado and it shows. Dokken Osaka, Japan December 3, 1985 Disc 1 1. Unchain The Night 2. Tooth And Nail 3. When Heaven Comes Down 4. • Audience 9.0 - A small club atmosphere puts you up close to the band and the respectful audience. The music is all-encompassing, it’s space rock with emphasis on rock, and It is quite interesting. Quality is clear, it’s not super dynamic but you can really sink into this recording and what is extra cool is the taper stayed for both sets leading me to believe they were connected to the band or their management. Maybe not, but it’s my guess. Cool stuff! Far East Family Band Troubador Los Angeles, CA Early Show 1978-03-24 First Performance in the United States. • Austin band that formed out of the ashes of The Cosmic Head Band circa 1976. These recordings took place over the course of a decade, in various garages, in sweltering heat amidst cases of Lone Star beer and cheap Mexican brick. The results, while a little rough around the edges, are pretty devastating. Twin guitar attack influenced by Rush, Wishbone Ash, Cream, Frank Marino, and Black Sabbath - loads of feedback, wah-wah, dirty and distorted garage acid prog psyche proto-metal. Cool!
  • Soundboard 9.4 - A good stereo board of a criminally underrated band. You will hear plenty of Celtic themed rock material, but also a band with a wide palette of ideas. Great stuff!
  • Soundboard 9.4 - Sandy’s vocals are like, literally right there in your room. It’s scary! Well, I wouldn’t say scary, but really lifelike and present. • CD issue of an album originally released in 1983.  Imported from UK, CD is SEALED.
  • Audience 7.7 - Lots of cool hysteria in the crowd, sound is clear enough to enjoy but still does have that stadium sound with a bit of boom and echo but not too much. It’s good!

  • Audience 9.5 - As good as you can do, clear and bright, great mix and some great feel in a small club.
  • Soundboard 8.7 - A tape that shows some age with a little bit of a lack of high end that would provide more clarity as far as the sound mix. It’s a workable board tape nonetheless and it does feature the antics of Pete Townshend and Keith Moon so there is that. In this mix, it is guitar, bass, drums (and vocals are fine) but don’t expect much more.
