Audience 7.2 - 7.6 During the quite (or less loud I should say) portions, this tape shines. At full throttle, there’s a bandwidth issue with this tape, meaning the music is too much for the narrow bandwidth of the cassette to contain. That being said, there’s no distortion, miraculously – and despite the massive volume you still get a reasonable clearness of the music. If it was just a little more distinct, this could be one of those “feels like your there” tapes. -

Audience 8.5 A tape that has been much celebrated over the years, which has also been through the hands of many a fine engineer, bringing out the best of the old tape (and fixing a lot of errors along the way too). Now, here we are decades after the event and it sounds fresh and exciting…still. -

FM Broadcast 9.5 - Even though this is excellent broadcast quality, there are some moments where the sound kind of briefly drops in level perhaps due to inconsistencies with the venue P.A. system (that is to say, the sound man has to quickly lower or raise the master volume on occasion) but it doesn’t hurt this show a bit. Soundboard 9.3 - Fantastic! Now I was not familiar with this band, but I must say, it’s pretty good musically with emphasis on their white-hot lead guitarist. The songs aren’t anything super duper, and their singer isn’t sensational either, but in combination all this works together to become a little more than the individual parts. I like this guitar! I already made that point but it’s worth repeating.
