Soundboard 8.7 - This is a pro recording but what hurts it is the upper end frequencies, they seem a bit shrill to me. Now, the good news is that you can EQ this and since the highs are so present, you won’t lose them with any EQ’ing. So I think this tape is a sound engineer’s dream. -
Soundboard/Audience - Excellent throughout. Features on track with Joe Paris, Stephen Stills, Buddy Miles, Janis Joplin; each at various locations. -
Audience 8.2 - Very live with that festival vibe all over it. Clear guitar right in your face. -
Soundboard 9.6 - Smoking hot a MUST have! -
Audience 8.0 - This is an explosive sounding document, thrilling actually. Sounds like it’s right in front of PA on Johnny’s side, but does not distort. So cool! -

Audience 8.7 - Comfortable on the ears, with a true stereo mix making this a choice headphone experience. -
Audience 8.0 - Very loud up front tape which gets a little crowded during intense jams but is actually my kind of audience recording. It seems to be more exciting and electrified when it is so close to the stage as long as it doesn’t distort I love it. -
Audience 8.7 - An immersive experience. Great presence, you can place yourself in the seat at the arena practically. No distortion, just clean energy and sound. -
Aud 8.3 - Now Hendrix collectors all know that good quality 68 tour recordings are in short supply, so when they pop up, well it’s a no-brainer…so we have two no-brainers here for you. Both are very decent, and the Vancouver in particular is very cool in both sound and performance. -
Soundboard 8.6 - A little noisy and compressed but still hot and a great show.
