Audience 9.7 - It takes the soundman a little while to dial it in, I mean, there's a lot going on so give him a break! Once he gets his mix right, it's off to the raises and one heck of a winning ticket. This is one of the best, Alan White has never been as fluid, even with the extended and complex jamming he's on every beat like a beastmaster. Steve Howe is in excellent form, in fact they all are...amazing! Audience 8.4 - Very few 1980 recordings out there, this one is pretty decent, no glaring flaws to mention, but there is some tape hiss (although the music is sharp for the most part). -
Audience 7.6 - Reasonably clear tape, with a touch of that bass drum and bass guitar boom for a large hall but it does not intrude on guitar which comes through it all. -
Audience 8.7 - Very clean, levels a little low so turn it up. Very nice, and the band is great. -
Audience 8.7 - A recording that, while it does not open up to reveal a heck of a lot of depth, it is clear and present, with thump and some big arena bombast. The vocals do not appear up front in the mix, and low end is not highly defined although very present in a "feel" sense, the entirety of the sound can be roundly enjoyed though, as the relative clarity and presence of the band give this old tape credibility in the collector world. Audience 7.4 - Decent for the time and you can hear ever instrument and clearly enough so I think this was remastered. It is a very good 1971 audience recording. It does lack a little depth in my opinion. -

Audience 7.4 - Thin sounding and narrow but can probably benefit from some EQ. Start with the bottom end. -
FM Broadcast 8.9 - This recording was done from the radio broadcast even though most people think it is from the reels (it is from a reel to reel, but a recording made from the broadcast). However, once the live over the air sound mix is sorted out, it becomes pretty darn good and even if the tape has some signs of age, it’s a great document and well worth getting.
