• Audience 8.8 - This is a very good audience tape. It is very clear, with great separation of instruments. It is not terribly dynamic though, but it's also not sluggish there either - it sort of sits in the midrange of things but in a way that is not too bad on the ears. I enjoyed this performance, I liked the atmosphere of the gig, and the respectful audience. • Audience 7.6 - Reasonably clear tape, with a touch of that bass drum and bass guitar boom for a large hall but it does not intrude on guitar which comes through it all.
  • Audience 8.7 - Very clean, levels a little low so turn it up. Very nice, and the band is great.
  • Audience 8.7 - A recording that, while it does not open up to reveal a heck of a lot of depth, it is clear and present, with thump and some big arena bombast. The vocals do not appear up front in the mix, and low end is not highly defined although very present in a "feel" sense, the entirety of the sound can be roundly enjoyed though, as the relative clarity and presence of the band give this old tape credibility in the collector world. • Audience 7.4 - Decent for the time and you can hear ever instrument and clearly enough so I think this was remastered. It is a very good 1971 audience recording. It does lack a little depth in my opinion.
  • Audience 9.2 - A tremendous, lively recording with LOADS of nice atmosphere provided by the receptive audience. The legendary Quebec ’79 tape now has some company! • Audience 7.4 - Thin sounding and narrow but can probably benefit from some EQ. Start with the bottom end.
  • New York - Audience 8.8 - This is a good tape for the vintage, even if the tapers are sometimes talkative they are at least not shouters and nor are those around them. San Bernadino - Audience 9.2 - A surprisingly clear tape, you can tell right away it is a master tape source. The quality of this capture is appreciated very much, it really gives one a sense of what was beginning to happen in the States for Yes. I sometimes just can't believe there was a time when this kind of adventurous, demanding music was so well received and consumed by the American public. • FM Broadcast 8.9 - This recording was done from the radio broadcast even though most people think it is from the reels (it is from a reel to reel, but a recording made from the broadcast). However, once the live over the air sound mix is sorted out, it becomes pretty darn good and even if the tape has some signs of age, it’s a great document and well worth getting. • Audience 8.8 - Clear solid and a good live mix where everything is clearly heard.
  • Audience 7.2 - Crowded in the middle, with more definition contained in the upper frequencies, but too much clutter for me on this one. Good for the serious collector, as most people know the band really hit their stride on the European leg of this tour.
  • Audience 8.4 - A very good 8.4! So what I mean is, as any die hard Yes collector will probably agree with me on, is that the 1978 and 1979 period of Yes is perhaps their absolute zenith. This performance here is right up there with the best of the best, and the rating might be misleading because while it is maybe on the “average” side, it is still a good representation, giving you pretty good stage sound balance but maybe missing a little separation of instruments (drums get a little buried)- but overall this one should be thoroughly enjoyed by the Yes fan as it’s all here, and reasonably good too!
  • Audience 8.6 - The key to enjoying this show is you have to turn it up very loud as the levels are low.
  • Radio and TV Broadcast 8.7-9.7 - Thankfully most of this material falls into the high 9’s in terms of audio quality but the compilation wins high points for presenting a chronological look into the bands broadcasts on TV in 1969. So, it’s nice to hear progressive rock’s development during the year. YES 1969 "Something's Coming To TV" Disc 1 01. Something's Coming BBC Top Gear  Radio Session #1 (Jan69) 02. • Audience 7.4  (7.8 in quieter parts).
  • Audience 7.8 - The better between the two Paris 1977 shows in my opinion.
