  • Soundboard 9.5 - A professional recording that has a real 1974 mix – sound engineers might understand what I am saying. Naw, I mean, it’s super clean and tight but it also has a certain kind of “dated” sound, and it really feels like a small venue to me…but these are PLUS marks!  It’s for those reasons I love it. • Disc 1 Audience 8.7 - Surprisingly decent effort capturing a rarely recorded Borneo Band in what sounds like a small club. Disc 2 Soundboard 8.7 - A tape showing age, but of decent enough quality that you can dive in and enjoy this rare recording. Discs 3 and 4 Audience 9.2 - Extremely clear and vibrant recording that provides an amazing listening experience!  This is a must have for sure. • Soundboard 9.4 - Superb document! My only complaint is very minor, I would have mixed keyboards in a little higher, but otherwise this smokes!
  • Audience 8.2/8.6  - The recording starts out borderline, probably due to taper position…but hang in there because midway through the 4th song it improves and becomes a more interesting document because of it, First of all, it’s literally Bob Seger in the peak of his powers with a handful of chart toppers to display proudly. Normally that would not move me, but Bob Seger is old school, he delivers the goods even if his songs are considered “mainstream”, I mean, its good rock and roll no matter what. I love this document for many reasons. • Audience 8.7 - This is an ass-kicker of a show, really huge sound and larger performance…completely over the top.  The hall effect is present but taper is close enough to the mains to mitigate much of that.  There is an underlying “noisiness” in the tape which gets lost on the shuffle anyway once the band is cooking…and man do they cook! Audience 8.8 - This recording was made with obviously good gear, the sound on occasion will lead you to believe it is a pro-job but it really isn’t. What may give it away is the slightly buried guitars, and I mean slightly. The vocals are soaring and direct at the same time – just lovely. Good band, good recording, the magical 1970’s.
  • Pro Made non factory pressed compact discs housed in 2 pocket gate fold jacket with full laser printed graphics front, back, inside, discs, and spine.
  • Audience 8.2 - Not one of the better ones, it lacks clarity (drums are actually pretty clear though, and the vocals do rise above somewhat) and to these ears, I gotta say, this is the closest I have ever heard Boston sounding like a heavy metal concert. The lack of sonic clarity does not mean you can’t tell they were f’ing loud!
