Audience 9.7 - This was broadcast live at the time but I can tell you it is not a soundboard. There is too much ambience (a small club apparently) that gives you the impression they did not even need to run a board feed for this broadcast. It’s superbly captured, the detail, the depth, man…this is how they should record all concerts! Amazing stuff. Soundboard 9.3 - This is an average of the rating that I confidently can say spans the entire set. There is some minor variance in the first disc being that is taken from four different sources, but consistently good. The exact date of the last disc (the rehearsals) is unknown but believed to be ’93 although people say it can be as early as 1989 also. I’ll let the experts decide but I have gone with the general wisdom of it being from ’93. Audience 8.4 - While not nearly as spectacular as the Uniondale ’77 (a pro-mixed board btw), this is still an important tape being that it is among the last of the Kath era shows. It’s also not bad at all – in a narrow bandwidth it manages to offer decent separation of instruments and nothing annoying in the frequencies. It’s a solid capture on limited equipment and for that I give the thumbs up to the tapers. GREAT find and appreciated a little bit more being that it’s a Grace Under Pressure tour gig which for some reason there’s not a plethora of excellent recordings from this tour. -

Aud 8.3 - A legendary gig, mainly because of the covers they play for the encore. The tape has a rough beginning but eventually evens out to reveal a surprisingly powerful capture. Most collectors consider this one a must have and from what I understand this source comes from a master tape. -
Pro FM 9.6 - Sound quality is absolutely spot on but so is the band. They were well rested and rehearsed, and it clearly shows with stunning accuracy and a packed set list too. Get this! -
A collection of rare, never before issues tracks originating from Texas during the 1970's. Featuring a handful of demos produced by the group Truck, a band who slipped under the radar and whose music remained undiscovered for decades. The rest of the disc is rounded out by some known and some very obscure acts, some so obscure we do not even know what their name is! These tracks were discovered on an old forgotten multi-track reel that was owned by Ernie Myers (guitarist of Hands out of Dallas, TX.). Studios would frequently reuse reels to save costs, and this particular reel was no exception Tracks were discovered on the end of the reel that was used to record some demos in 1980. All that we know of the band are the first names of the members written on a track sheet inside the tape box. The recordings originated out of a studio called JD&D Sound...and that's it. The music is excellent!
