Studio 9.4 - GREAT stuff here, sure to please the most jaded of Stones collectors who haven't heard anything in a long time that hearkens back to the glory days The Rolling Stones at their studio best. A little tape hiss, but really this is right in the pocket. Audience 8.7 - This could also get a few tenths of a point up for the careful re-mastering that recently was applied to the old tape. It definitely needed a refresh, and it got one and it is way the better for it. The highlight for me is that Randy's guitar is the clearest instrument, followed by Ozzy and the others all decently placed in the soundfield with the only knock being the overall clarity and dynamics. That being said, this is a great recording for the time period, knowing how precious few great sounding Blizzard tour tapes there are. I have to rank this in the top 5 I think, because the guitar is so good (you get the tone, and a great sense of the spirit of the room and the band). Audience 8.8 - I give this recording high marks for being one of the good ones, and you know how important any live recording with Randy Rhoades is so instantly when you hear this, and your ears go "wow, cool", well that means we have something special. Now, it does take a song or so to get balanced, maybe that is the taper and maybe that is the house, either way it is typical of an old audience tape to start a little rough but settle in as it goes. I am not saying this is super-duper, but when you have at least a very listenable tape, where you can clearly hear Randy and Ozzy, maybe a tiny bit of overload here but it doesn't matter - my ears don't lie and I felt this one delivered the goods. Audience 8.7 - I can imagine the difficulty in trying to capture something like this with all of the challenges not least of which is sheer volume and venues not ideal for the kind of acoustics metal presents. Does that mean this recording is bad? No, it's obviously done on gear that can handle the job, but to my ears it's something that you will need at least two songs to adjust, but once you do, it becomes the kind of tape that finds you sort of hanging on to see what happens next. The mix is a bit different to the album we all know and love, but not enough to change the total badassery of the tones, complexity, inventiveness, and composition. Audience 8.6 - Starts off a bit dodgy but gets better. Vocals are up front in the mix but still "round" and by that I mean not clearly defined to where you can make out the words. Drums are probably the clearest instrument in this recording and they propel the music forward with gusto. Guitars are raucous and as dirty as you want them, and the overall recording is a bit dirty too coming from the crowd where you get a great sense of being there with them. This is a recording that is worth sticking with because by the third or fourth song in you can really start to appreciate it because it does seem as though everything gets just a little bit clearer and more distinct (you can really tell during Over The Top). Motorhead Live in Lisboa! Right on the first song the band sent the power down! The played too loud – too fuckin loud that the made the life of the soundboard guys a nightmare! Apart from the initial technical issues, the show went on good (and Loud!). A hard-to-find recording nowadays! Brought here be the man who made the sound himself! And to this day can’t forget how fuckin loud the band played! -

Kiss coming to Brazil in the early 80’s was a truly revolution! It was news all over the place! The Maracana Stadium, used for the first time on this king of show with an international act. The sound could be better if Brazilian sound engineers and broadcast equipment was better, but is decent enough for a soundboard recording. -
