Audience 7.3 - Sounds very close to the stage, and the tape machine struggles, but there’s something magical about this one…the band sounds more experimental and “free” to just rock it and jam. There is a palpable energy and the recording does capture that. -

Audience 7.5 - Average dynamics but the strength of this recording lies not in the tonal spectrum but in the music itself. You WILL gain an even greater appreciation for them after listening. The rewards are huge, a promise I can make without hesitation. Simply breathtaking! -
Audience 7.8 - Probably as good as you can get for the tour right now unless and until a Soundboard surfaces. The reality is this is a stadium rock band and the sound is exactly that. Large kick drum, vocals in front, indistinct PA loud guitar and bass, but that being said, this is probably exactly as it sounded at this show. It is enjoyable for what it is. -
Disc 1 Aud 7.0 low levels and kind of muddy, Robert is up front in the mix. Disc 2 Aud 7.4 much clearly mainly because it’s acoustic, the electric part is slightly less clear but not horrible. -
Audience 8.7 - A kick ass show and quality is perfectly suited for the kind of loud and raucous music the Kinks made…albeit with excellent melodic sense. Recording has loads of power without overloading so I believe taper was using very good stuff for the time. -
Audience 7.5 - Not quite as good as Manchester, some kind of compressed, almost muffled but probably only needs a kick in the highs which you can do on whatever you play it with. There's a little bit of headroom to play with. Not going to blow anyone away but if you've heard any of the other 2015 captures you realize that this and Manchester are the better ones. -

Audience 7.3 - Kick drum and vocals sound great though. -
Audience 8.8 - This recording has been attributed to a soundboard radio broadcast but I highly doubt that. For one thing, listen to the vocals, that should be a dead giveaway. That all being said, the recording is very, very good, a little on the bright side but it is still smokin’ hot and not to be missed. -
CD 1 - Reading 1979 – Audience 5.7 - Loud and thundering but lead guitar is heard through the din, and you can kind of hear Lemmy singing, and there’s some drum like noises too. CD 2 Paris 1980 – Aud 6.9 - You can hear the music on this show. There are practically no decent recordings of the early Motorhead, but this one, even though it is bad, is one of the better ones because you can hear the songs, and it is not distorted. The guitar is really pretty clear – and so is Lemmy thank goodness. Oh, they kick ass on this show - Really. -

Audience 7.6 - Suffers from some kind of annoying mid frequency squelch. But, it’s actually a very good recording, just marred by some kind of technicality. -
Audience 8.2 - Not great in the instrument separation dept. but sonically it is very good and clear with no distortion. A “real” sounding large hall vibe is present. Kind of like being there I would say. -

Audience 7.6 - Very impressive stuff. This band sounds so much heavier live than on their record, and their record is pretty damn heavy! I would imagine a lot of young people at this gig later formed their own bands and decided they could be even heavier than these guys - thus was born the modern metal sound. So, to me, it just sounds like these guys were taking the music they heard as kids (Blue Cheer, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath), and putting their own twist on it. Great stuff! -
FM Radio Broadcast 8.5 - The tape source shows its age, and then there’s the telltale radio compression as well so you get a reasonably clear sound with a lack of high end clarity, occasional minor drop outs, that sort of thing. It’s not that bad, I expect better of an FM broadcast but there’s not much out there from this station, this is a pretty rare thing, and the band, while very good, never achieved a lot of commercial success. They are traditional AOR rock that sometimes reminds me of Bob Seger or Meatloaf. -
Audience 8.6 - A little thin but surprisingly clear, and man, just to hear this stuff I gotta say it’s a privilege. The material these bands came up with around this time – 1972-73 – it’s just a whole different world of rock and roll that most people were, and still are, completely unaware of. I like the experimental spaciness of the opening “jam sessions” with Franco Battiato (probably with members of the other bands), you get the feeling these guys were really tuned in to each other because it’s not recklessly chaotic, there’s a mystical beauty to it. The Quella Vecchia Locanda is just insane, too bad only one song, and it’s not complete, but I think only a small portion was missed I could be wrong. Garybaldi’s set consists of most of the Astrolabio record, which is very cool but I wished there was some of the Nuda stuff on here. -
