Audience 8.2 - There’s a more intimate, immediate sound to this, a little flat but very clear. -
Audience 7.8 - Concert Hall sound capturing his last show of the tour. I can enjoy this, but I do have to season it to taste, mainly in adjusting just a little bit to give it more bass response. It’s not bad, it’s not great, it’s good and there’s something here to work with in my opinion. -
Audience 9.4 - This is what you want in a recording made from the audience. It has to be done on excellent equipment, and it has to be in a good spot. This is that, and more. It’s the kind of recording that makes you realize what you missed out on. Bowie at the Fabulous Forum in 1978, and here it is in 2021! Studio Quality 9.5 What a great set this is! I love being able to hear this full range of material spanning the musicians career. Very intelligently thought out collection with detailed liner notes included. Excellent! Audience 7.7 - Kind of thin but really pretty clear and that is why they consider this one of the better audience tapes of the British leg of the Spiders tour in 1972. -

Audience 8.8 - This tape is fascinating! Really gives the listener exactly what they might have experienced attending this concert, a sort of audio time capsule in very good quality but more than that it is LOADED with electric atmosphere. You get a very good sense of time and space. Fantastic! There is one caveat…a microphone drop out does occur towards the end of the show that kind of spoils the flow but it was not something that seemed like taper error so all is forgiven. Audience 9.2 - A lovely sound, it’s warm and close and very articulate. There’s some interesting spacial characteristics, almost 3D-like. Bowie on this tour paid homage to his back catalog, I would say comprehensively and complimentary. Dodger Stadium Los Angeles, CA. 5-26-1990 Disc 1- Space Oddity

Audience 7.3 - Suffers from being in a bad spot on the floor but the perspective is interesting nonetheless. It lacks depth and clarity for sure, but hearing this show gives one a real sense of being right there with the tapers. -
Audience 6.8 - For the hardcore collector of the Ziggy days. A rare tape though, wish it was better. -
Audience 8.4 - The quality of the audio is very good, being taped on what sounds like something better than a realistic recorder, but it is somewhat distant from the stage, and consequently a lack of sharpness. So, sound is good on your ears, but maybe sounds like what you would have heard if you were sitting in the upper deck at the Garden. That being said, Bowie is CLEARLY heard as are guitar leads, so it makes for an overall nice experience and worth grabbing. DAVID BOWIE Madison Square Garden New York, NY.
