  • Audience 8.8 - A large hall with a lot of atmosphere but the recording thankfully was handled with care by the tapers. Not super close, but not nosebleed, levels are perfect, and the stereo effect is nice. Audio quality is decent, giving you a pretty solid idea of what you would have been hearing with your own ears if you were there.
  • Soundboard 9.4 - A newly remastered version of the matinee soundboard show in all it’s glory restored – with bonus material from Seattle, this is well worth re-examining because I found it to be a really pro job, and you don’t have to suffer through the inferior audience tape thrown in because quite honestly there would be no point at all. • Soundboard 9.6 - Superb sound and mix, highly enjoyable no matter who you are.
  • Soundboard 9.0 -A somewhat confusing mix, almost as if a ghost is present in the board! Well what it actually is might not be that spooky at all, just the effects loop they use for what seems to be the kick drum, or drums in general. It's their signature, a background "noise" the resembles phasing, and gives the band a unique sound. Does it work for a soundboard tape is the question - and I think it can be slightly distracting but it's not used continuously. Other than that I think this is quite OK. • Soundboard 9.6 - There's not much better than having these early Ghost board tapes. This is just one of those bands that you need the tone to go with the whole presentation - classy songwriting, unique vocals, superior musicianship. all said this is a band that has great tone. • Audience 9.3 - For me, because this is a recording from 2023, I place high expectations on it. There is no excuse because you have the best P.A.’s, the best digital recorders, and great microphones. So I want something that gives me a sense of being there and this tape does that. I like the “in the pit” feel of this tape, and I really like the immersive audio. Great! Ghost Download 20 Opus Stage Donington Park, Donington, UK June 11th, 2023 01. Miserere 02. Imperium 03. • Soundboard 9.4 - Anytime you can find a soundboard of this band you really ought to grab it. I think it allows the listener to get all the nuance, the sound effects so-to-speak that make Ghost a little bit better than the competition. Plus the songs are interesting, and the voice is perfectly matched to the style.

  • Audience 8.9 - A pretty good tape, the mix is very good, with good clear guitar and bass sitting just right, alongside the drums complimenting each other and not fighting for bandwidth at all. Vocals sit about all of it where they should be - all in all I like this one a lot. Ghost Göransson Arena Sandviken, Sweden 2025-05-23 Disc 1 01. Peacefield 02. Lachryma 03. Spirit 04. • Audience 9.4  - Superior to a board tape in my opinion because it is recorded in the way that your ears would have picked up the sound in the venue, with the perfectly balanced stereo mixing and balancing of instruments to each side of the stage. Wonderful!
  • Soundboard 8.8 - Good punchy sound if not a little heavy on bass but it’s fine ‘cause that bass is funky and snappin’ coolness bruh.
  • Audience 8.7 - It’s a small to mid-size venue and a loud all-girl metal band so the idea here is to just have some fun. If you are wanting pristine clarity and dynamics, you have come to the wrong place. If you want polished, precision metal, um, yeah, whatever pal. If you wanna rock with some veteran metal chicks and get sloppy drunk, well, step right up!
  • Audience 8.8 - Loud keyboards and vocals, great drum sound at the large outdoor arena in Long Beach. Audience 8.4 - A muddier sound, not nearly as distinct as the Long Beach show but due to the scarcity of live Giuffria shows I would say this deserves your attention. On the positive, the guitar sounds pretty good and clear, and the drums are positioned well.

  • FM Broadcast 9.0 and Audience 8.8 - Both recordings capture the band well enough to appreciate that they were at least attempting to craft their own sound and style. The FM is cleaner and better separation of instruments but the audience tape ain’t all that bad. Giuffria 2/20/85 Peabodys Down Uder WMMS Coffee Break Cleveland, OH 1. Do Me Right 2. • Soundboard 9.1 - Acetates and live noticeable wear from the acetates but everything is clearly heard.
  • Audience 8.3 - A little bit of hiss on this tape but every instrument is distinct and knowing how few live documents exist of this band, you take it! Very very good, and the music…well, if I have to explain you probably want something else but if you know, ‘nuf said!
  • Audience 9.5 - Beautiful sound, excellent performance. A venerable Italian prog band that achieved critical success by virtue of having composed soundtrack music for horror films in the 70’s. • Audience 8.1 - Tape is not clear but also not muddy, it’s just typical of early 70’s gear not being able to handle freakishly loud rock bands. This recording highlights drums, guitars, and bass and vocals are in the background. That being said, the drums and guitars are pretty clear, and there’s plenty of the dueling guitar pyrotechnics on display. I don’t complain to have this show to hear, it’s clearly worth it to the collectors out there. • SDBRD 9.5 - both of these gigs are spectacular, for me they represent an all too brief high water mark for the band where things are unbelievably tight and incomprehensibly cosmic.
