Audience 7.3 - The sound field just won’t open up no matter how much you hope it will. However, this tape holds some rewards if you hang in there, there’s enough head room to sweeten the sound with Equalizer, so it does need a little boost on the highs – the mids and lows are all there and are not super well defined nor are they too boomy or muddy. There’s some muddiness but it is not a deal breaker. This is a good historic artifact. -
Audience 8.8 - Sounds like a pro recording to me. A little remastering would have this officially releasable. -

8.8 - 9.0 - Absolutely enjoyable, excellent recording of a band at the PEAK of their mighty powers, a set list that will blow your mind, a performance that rocks the house...any questions? -

Pro 9.3 - Sonically superior but the truth is it all depends on what you want out of the live mix. I think its fine myself but some may have opted for more up front vocals. Overall it is quite good. -
CD 1 - Pro Soundboard 9.4 ~ CD 2 - Soundboard 9.2 - Ten years separate these shows but you’d never know it. The band, let’s face it - Kicks Ass Bigly. -
Soundboard? Sounds like it to me, just perfect! 9.8 -
Soundboard 9.6 - Superb sound and mix, highly enjoyable no matter who you are. -

Soundboard 9.3 - Simply a MUST HAVE if you have any interest at all in Genesis. Includes some backstage interviews, giving an amazing perspective of this epic show. Enchanting! -

Audience 9.0 and Audience 8.6 - The Fillmore West show is a revelation. This has been floating around mislabeled as Winterland 69, and in horrible quality. This is the actual venue, and comes from the original master and sounds incredible! The Boston show is also real nice sounding, with an immediate sound, with some minor tape artifacts present. A great two-fer here, vintage ’69. Free never sounded so good! -
Audience 9.0 - Rated very high for the excellent mid range punch where the guitar tone is magical. -
Foghat 7.4 ~ Robin Trower 7.5 ... Interesting concept, including the opening act and headliner in a 2 disc set - but it makes sense to me and it works spectacularly here. The quality is decent, I rate conservatively, you can really sink your ears (and teeth) into both sets but I give the slight edge to Trower's set as he was headlining and therefore probably got better service from sound guy. -

Audience 7.5 - This is direct from the open reel master tape. There is some limitation to the capture (slight oversaturation) but I would say this is a pretty fascinating document. -

Audience 7.4 - Would be much better with just a little bit of remastering because there is plenty of low end to work with, and even though the high end is muffled you can add some brightness to this, remove some tape hiss, and this show could be a real keeper. As it is now, for collectors only. -
Audience 8.4 - Very clear recording that sits just a little further back in the spectrum that I would prefer but that helps provide more atmosphere so that is the trade off. It’s a decent recording you can enjoy. -
Audience 9.0 - Great definition and a solid spectral range if just the slightest touch of crowding in the mids once the band is full blast, but it totally rocks and you will love it! -
Audience 8.5 - Clear recording that lacks a bit of upper dynamics but has good low and mid range, although not a super defined quality, but it’s a great recording to my ears.
