• Italy Prog Fest 1972:  Volume 1,2,3 Audience 7.5 - The stuff that dreams are made of! How long I have waited for something like this to materialize. I mean, I have been listening to and collecting these bands for ages and now I get to hear a full on multi-artist concert experience by all of the era’s top artists at the zenith of the prog rock movement. How cool is that? What a set this is too! The quality of presentation equals the unquestionable importance of this as a document of an important time for rock music. Thank you to whoever recorded this, and thank you to whoever packaged the recording like this. • Audience 8.8 - Sounds like a pro recording to me. A little remastering would have this officially releasable.
  • Audience 7.3 - The sound field just won’t open up no matter how much you hope it will. However, this tape holds some rewards if you hang in there, there’s enough head room to sweeten the sound with Equalizer, so it does need a little boost on the highs – the mids and lows are all there and are not super well defined nor are they too boomy or muddy. There’s some muddiness but it is not a deal breaker. This is a good historic artifact.
  • Audience 7.7 - Some muddiness, but historically nothing short of astonishing!
  • Volume 1: BBC 1971-1978 - Pro Studio 9.8 From the moment the first track plays to the last, fasten your seat belts because it’s quite a ride! A MUST!
  • Volume 2: BBC 1971-1978 – Pro Studio 9.8 From the moment the first track plays to the last, fasten your seat belts because it’s quite a ride! A MUST!
  • Volume 3: BBC 1971-1978 – Pro Studio 9.8 From the moment the first track plays to the last, fasten your seat belts because it’s quite a ride! A MUST!
  • Volume 1,2,3:  BBC 1971-1978 – Pro Studio 9.8   (each Volume is individually housed in its separate gate-fold cover). From the moment the first track plays to the last, fasten your seat belts because it’s quite a ride! A MUST!
  • Audience 8.7 - A fascinating live document that showcases some amazing talents paired with Jack’s keen sense of songcraft on a night where all cylinders are firing. A great way to begin exploring the post Cream Jack Bruce if you have not done so already. The bonus material on disc 2 is equally fascinating, offering a sneak peak into the inner workings of Jack’s mind. Everyone can get into this power-packed set!
  • Audience 7.2 - A reasonable rating and better at times.
  • First Show: Audience 7.3  /  Second Show: Audience 7.9 - This one is much clearer, but both shows are going to be good for those who appreciate the pre-Deep Purple Tommy Bolin.
  • Radio Broadcast 8.3 - Somewhat hissy but MUCH better than the version that circulated before. Someone remastered this, thank goodness because it’s great but needed some work.
  • Soundboard 8.8 - Very cool when you listen to these ’66 shows because to my ears this music really was the heart and soul of the hippie free love movement. Just incredible stuff.
  • Audience 8.6 - A solid large hall recording.
