Soundboard 8.4 - A very obscure Danish hard rock band with a lot of heaviness to their sound, consequently the signal is maybe slightly overloaded but this is still a great recording and can be immensely enjoyed by all. -
Radio Broadcast 8.3-9.0 - Very old, and quite rare source material means a little analog degradation in the earlier broadcast but gets much better for the rest of the material. -
Audience 8.4 - A smooth recording, pretty stable, but does lack some punch therefore it is recommended to “season to taste”, but thankfully the pallet is there to lay on your coloring. Some minor tape hiss pervades but is kind of background, my hunch is that this tape went through some mastering process to add boost and it helps a lot. It’s a good tape and a great show! Pro Broadcast 9.3 - A long improvisational track which really is, in my opinion, way ahead of everyone else in terms of trying new things and being completely off the cuff with sounds and textures. It’s not like traditional space rock, in fact it is not even rock, although the band are players and can make noise when they want to make noise. The fidelity is solid, I can hear everything very clearly and ambience is abundant. Audience 7.1 - A rough tape that improved a lot with some mastering. Now, you actually can really tell what they are doing! Worth it for the improved sound. -
Audience 7.3 - This tape is a welcome find mainly due to the scarcity of live Amon Duul tapes in existence. Sound is not hi-fi, there is some tape noise, there is general noise, and there is music which thankfully can be heard through the din. Actually the mid to highs are intact, some bottom end is missing, it’s still not a completely annoying tape at all, can be enjoyed for what it is. -
Austin 2007 Audience 9.6 - Excellent dynamics, strong recording signal that sounds like you are sitting right in front of the band. You can almost make out her diction of lyrics…almost ha ha! A lovely recording. Toronto 2007 Audience 9.1 - A good recording that features nice instrument separation and clarity, it isn’t as round and tight as the Austin show on disc 1 but it’s very strong in its own right. Audience 8.8 - The sound on this gets progressively better during the 1st song to the end due to the sound engineer dialing in the mix. Once it is set, the show cooks. This is a beginning to end recording, meaning you get every little moment of this evening, practically just travelling back in time to the evening of the gig then sitting in the crowd as the band does their thing. Soundboard 9.4 - What I find most appealing about this show is the mix, and how they do not bury the guitar which is what you might normally assume given the type of “top 40” music Annie wrote at the time. You will be pleasantly surprised to hear the guitar front and center, and actually pretty grungy sounding. -

Audience 8.7 - A strong and intense recording with a percussive tilt to it, so you get a very present and crisp drums and percussion. Everything else is also pretty clear but I would have liked guitars more up front but they are fine. This period of the band is exciting and intense, so if you love your progressive jazz hard rock played with fire and intensity that sometimes is off the charts this band is for you. -
Audience 8.3 - This recording captures a medium to large hall atmosphere from maybe middle rows and is quite good under those circumstances. It actually lends a cool vibe to the show, despite that naturally huge reverb going on. Oh, if you are unfamiliar with them, here’s the deal: GREAT hard and heavy jazz rock leaning towards rock with a very quirky singer. Once you get used to him, you are LOVING this band. -
Audience 8.8 - A very direct and punchy recording that delivers the music straight into your ears without passing through any air. As if you are sitting in front of the speaker as they play, nobody in front of you. It makes for a cool experience to hear this super intense band so intimately. -
Audience 8.3 - Some tinny highs but a good defined bass, so a complete sound spectrum present although I might roll off the highs and boost my mids for better listening. -
Audience 8.6 - A little bit thin as far as this recording goes in that it could use a little more bottom end but that is not a deal breaker because it is not a “shrill” thin, just could use more lows. That being said, there’s a lot to chew on with this show. Great performance, good quality, so just be aware the singer requires some getting used to! Have fun. -

Audience 8.8 - This show finally comes to light after decades and it’s surprisingly good. It’s extremely insistent and powerful sounding with guitars really up front and vocals thankfully pretty nicely mixed in as well.
