Audience 7.0 - It is one of the better early Audience recordings. Nice and clear, lots of small club atmosphere. Not too bad ! -
Audience 7.2 - A very desirable early Maiden show because it is one of the better sounding audience recordings. Very few early Maiden shows are well recorded. This one suffers from lack of bottom end but it is rather clear and thus it is sought out by collectors. -
Soundboard 9.2 - What more can one ask? Heavenly bliss. -
Audience 7.0 - Perhaps the only known live recording of this band. Well worth having! -

Soundboard 9.6 - Another stellar board with the best kick drum sound ever. Right smack dab in the pocket, and it helps to propel the songs “straight on you” as it were. -
Pro recording 8.8 - A Tape in desperate need of a remastering. Has everything it needs to be amazing. Right now, it is very good, but take the noise out, boost the right frequencies and you will have something MUCH better. -

Soundboard 8.6 - A strange mix that seems to leave out any bass, although I can hear the bass notes somewhere, I think. Still, it is a recording that you have to appreciate in that it’s reasonably clear which is hard to come by with this very densely layered sound. Audience 7.8 - As with most Hawkwind early 70’s aud tapes, it’s a little cluttered being they played so loud but guitars and vocals are prominent in the mix and that REALLY sets this tape above 95% of the others. -

CD 1 - Audience 8.4 - A real treat, since there are so few good live Hawkwind recordings out there. CD 2 - Audience 7.4 - But all instruments can be heard if a touch lo-fi, and slightly crunchy, it’s still decent for the era and chosen for inclusion on this set because it is listenable compares to some of the other 1977 shows. -
Radio Broadcast 9.4 - Smooth and crisp with great bass definition and spot on drum mix. Pretty much a must have. -
Audience 8.7 - A little squashed with guitar kind of low, vocals not bad, drums and bass OK although there’s no great separation of instruments. The good news is the louder you get the better this sounds, strange I know. The show itself? Good rock and roll, what else can you say about these guys? -
Audience 8.3 - A little bit of hiss on this tape but every instrument is distinct and knowing how few live documents exist of this band, you take it! Very very good, and the music…well, if I have to explain you probably want something else but if you know, ‘nuf said! -
Soundboard 8.8 - Good punchy sound if not a little heavy on bass but it’s fine ‘cause that bass is funky and snappin’ coolness bruh. -
Audience 8.9 - Sounding almost like a board tape with little audience interference and a good, immediate sound, emphasis on mid range punch. Excellent! -

Soundboard 9.6 - Just fantastic! I have to believe this was recorded for possible future official release, it’s just that good. -

Soundboard 9.1 - Technically sounds good, bright, crisp and all that, but I am not in love with the overall sound mix. It’s serviceable though. -
Audience 9.4 - I rate this one very high because not only does it capture the performance in solid detail, but it also manages to capture that indefinable thing called vibe. This show has major vibe. Get it! -
Audience 8.9 - A very fine recording probably made with some excellent gear for the time. So, sit back and enjoy the show! -

Audience 7.0 - Compressed sound, but it’s a killer show and the first time Gabriel wears the fox costume on stage. Historic. -
Audience 7.6 - Has a kind of thin quality to it even though you can hear everything on stage. Sounds like it needs a nice big punch in the middle, someone needs to remaster this one. Not crappy, just needs a mastering job. -
Audience 9.0 - This is a wonderful recording in almost every way. The sound balance is impeccable. The only complaint is a little crispiness when hard cymbal crashing, otherwise CRANK it! -

Soundboard 9.7 - A deft touch is what it took to make such a pleasant mix. Everything is where it should be, and the overall sound is something you might find on officially released records. Top shelf. -
CD 1 - FM Radio Broadcast 8.8 - A bit of tape hiss is present but this is a great great show! Lovely performance and decent sound. CD 2 - Audience 7.9 - A tape that went from a dismal 7.2 rating to a very decent 7.9 thanks to some painstaking mastering and restoration work. It was unbelievably hissy but that was mostly removed without sacrificing anything. Comparison was made and the results speak for themselves. -
FM Radio Broadcast 8.7 - Pretty rocking debut, and even though the audio quality is not perfect (although it is great) I really like the rawness and band interplay of their early gigs. -
