Aud 8.2 to 8.8 - The sound varies a little bit as the set progresses, mainly because it is a rotating stage and therefore sounds great when the stage is in front of the taper. The DVD is fascinating, a real treasure! -
Pro Studio Quality 9.3 features Stephen Stills and other luminaries of the time. A nice artifact! -
Aud 7.7 - Guitar is the dominant instrument on this tape, which features qualities I can appreciate knowing that there is so much worse out there than this. The DVD features a short segment of footage synced properly with the audio so collectors will enjoy that. -

CD SDBRD 9.1 DVD EX Pro rare footage of the concerts. This is an excellent set and it is nice to have it all put together in one place. -
Pro Studio 9.3 - Rare studio, outtakes, 7” B-sides mostly with Jimi, some arguably without but we’ll never know for sure. A good collection nonetheless. -

Audience 8.7 - Amazing for such an earlier audience source. It does border on the ragged edge of breakup, but it’s so real, so close, so powerful, I mean you are literally there. Fantastic to my ears (some tape noise but it goes away when the band is cranking it). -
Various sources SDBRD 9.0 Aud 8.6 - In order to present the entire concert, various sources had to be used but it’s well worth dealing with some level fluctuation because this is a smoking hot gig. The DVD presents the film that was shot of the entire festival, it is kind of dark and grainy in spots, other times it is nice and bright. Perhaps this is why it was never officially released?
