Released by the reformed band in 2013 in a very limited run on CD-R, this is actually that same title re-worked. The audio is the same but the package is expanded, the original was a very simple, black and white 4 panel sheet with nothing printed inside and the disc placed in without any protection. It was a CD-R burn in fact, and basically my understanding was it wasn't even sold but handed out to people, family, friends, fans, etc. Not even sure how many they made, probably less than 1,000 for sure. They are all gone now, but this re-worked version supersedes that with the upgraded packaging. -
Audience 8.7 - This is a GREAT 8.7, and what I mean is that while technically speaking the sonics are not ideal, the entirety of this recording is GREAT! It has a feel to it, it captures a moment in a highly tangible way, from the feeling of being in the pit, to the sense of time and space, and the "in your face" nature of the audio itself. All in all I really enjoyed this for what it is and it is something I can definitely recommend highly. Soundboard 9.8 - Spectacular in every way. Very energetic, not dull or compressed. Everything sort of jumps right out at you with this recording. The mix is spot on. Brand New - Live Marquee Club November 29th, 1985 and demos early '85 and late '86. Butler formed a short-lived group in 1984 after leaving Black Sabbath for the first time. Butler wrote some songs intended for the project, but the group did not record or release any material. This mid-80s project featured a fascinating hodgepodge of players as the bass legend was joined by Sabbath's touring keyboardist Jezz Woodroffe and Persian Risk's vocalist Carl Sentence among others. The band was never able to release anything beyond a couple of demos that remain a fascinating relic. -
Brand New - Radio Broadcasts - USA leg of Savatage tour like the Vol I, here you can listen to 17 tracks recorded on The Palace, Hollywood/Los Angeles and The Venue in Dallas, Texas. The problem here is to decide what’s the best leg of the tour! Both CDs sound amazing and the band delivers a great performance wherever they play. -
Brand New - Live and Studio - During 1979 the band recorded 11 tracks (studio demos), made now available on this CD, wiling to secure a record deal with some American Record Label. Randy Rhoads later left Quiet Riot after accepting an offer to form a new band with ex-Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. Along with this demo this CD also contains various rare tracks recorded from 1975 to 1979. Songs that remained unreleased. -
Brand New - Soundboard - Here we have a totally unheard, uncirculated soundboard recording of Van Halen during their "Diver Down "tour ("Hide Your Sheep tour") on October 24th, 1982. This is the last of three consecutive nights Van Halen played at The Worcester Centrum in 1982. It appears that not even an audience recording of these Worcester shows have circulated previously. -
Brand New - Soundboard/Studio Quality -For a band with such a vast output, there is very little material out there of Rush's music in its embryonic stage. In fact, the only glimpse we've been given of their songs as works in progress have been the few times they've debuted compositions live prior to their being recorded. But to hear actual studio demos, well, that's another thing entirely. Here they are the power Windows Album fully “Demoed” along with a unreleased studio track! -

Audience 8.8 - The sound of this recording owes almost all of its characteristics to the house PA sound. What I mean is this: The recorder very accurately captured exactly what this gig sounded like, and so if there is any particular thing that is not as good as it could be, we need to talk to the sound man. This tape captures this show in excellent quality, I would say the rating reflects more what the sound itself actually was like at this show - not great (for me I just did not love the drum sounds, and thought the guitars could be louder) but really very good. I think it is a matter of preference then, because some people might really like the way this show sounds coming out of the main PA system. Audience 8.8 - A pretty decent recording which might be a touch on the thin side as the deepness of bass is lacking, but still enough meat on the bones to be worthy of the collection. Vocals come through clearly, drums do sound good too and the overall sound mix is very even. Audience 9.0 - This is actually how The Bangles should sound live. This is as punk as I have heard them. Soundboard 8.8 - a rather dusty old tape but oh how glorious it is! So many years later and this unpolished gem finally surfaces! You can tell it's age, sure, but the bones are all here and the band is ferocious. Opening for Black Sabbath, yeah, they had to bring it and history knows the rest. Audience 9.3 - This recording has a great feel and ambience to it - a thwack of the kick drum like you are there, but good separation of instruments that let's the guitar and vocals ride nicely in their own space above the bottom end. Audience 8.7 - A recording that won't set the night on fire but will provide enough warmth and light to keep you in front of it. I only noticed some issues with how the cymbals sounded, to me it almost sounded like tape hiss - I had to really concentrate to tell what it was at first, but, it does seem to be Keith banging away incessantly as he is known to do. Towards the end of the tape, the cymbal anomaly seems to get worse. It is still a decent old tape.
