There had to be a first and sometimes that means you end up forgotten while others swoop in behind you. Thankfully this UK label, PROGAOR, has been reissuing a lot of this cool underground stuff. • FM Broadcast 9.6 - This recording is beautiful, but not without a fair share of hiccups, and I don’t mean in the recording itself, but in the happenings on stage. This was a large and complex production (featuring an orchestra) and there were bound to be some technical problems. Now, if you can appreciate that, and you understand shit happens, then I highly encourage you to dive into this one because when it is good, it is extremely powerful and intoxicating. I will say that even though sometimes the equipment fails (bad mic cable, etc.), it just reinforces the appreciation for the efforts that go into a live stage production and broadcast. • Soundboard 9.6 - Excellent in every respect, including the fact that there’s some audience bleeding into stage mics which in my opinion immensely help soundboard recordings from becoming too sterile. No chance of that happening here, so what you get is simply wonderful including excellent performances by everyone. • Audience 8.8 - A good recording that is taken from one side of the stage as you get much more bass presence than guitar which is probably how you would prefer if you are a big fan of Peter Hook – and not surprisingly the bass sounds badass here. • Tilburg 2008 Audience 9.3 Taper right in the sweet spot with good gear means you will absolutely love this recording. Bold and striking, the guitar is distinct, vocals perfect, and everything else forming a backdrop without being lost. Wowsers! Tilburg 2009 Audience 9.5 This ladies and gentlemen is the proper way in which to capture a live recording. Now, the fact that it is a progressive rock band with multiple sonic textures and loads of dynamics means you have to work a little harder to make sure you a. set up in a good spot, b. use professional gear and c. know how to use the gear.  This, if done correctly, is the result. A SPECTACULAR RECORDING which is a must have even if you don’t know who Mars Volta is, and if that is the case, why not start here?  Stunning. PRINCE – Live Out Loud 6 Cities On 12 Discs (Deluxe Metal Canister)

Original price was: $80.00.Current price is: $65.00.
Quality varies but does not dip into anything that might be considered sub par, mostly very good, and a good bit of this set I would consider to be excellent. Besides, it's Third Eye Girl and Prince demonstrated more guitar prowess on this tour than perhaps at any other time in his career, arguably.
