Studio quality 9.4 - There’s some strange audio artifacts on the first song but it also could be one of the vocal mics acting funny…I could not figure it out but it’s intermittent. The rest is spot on. Pro 9.7 - This is a professional recording and I am not sure if it is a board tape but an open mic seems more logical after hearing. It’s great, and the band is a happy, jangly, fun, rollicking, well-oiled machine producing songs that make you want to dance…and then slit your wrists. Audience 9.1 - You have to really try hard if you want to screw up a stealth recording in this day and age – excellent equipment, great PA’s, decent venues…so thankfully taper understands and delivers a pleasant “souvenir” in this live tape. Morrissey – well I was never into him but gotta admit there’s a lot of talent here in the music and his deliver is appropriate. Audience 9.5 - Fantastic presence (after the first song) and good depth, but what I love most is the atmosphere. You get just enough audience to make you feel as if you are there. A great one! Studio Quality 9.4 - I admit I never was a fan, but being a music collector I ended up discovering a few things I’d missed and this is one. While I am still not the biggest Morrissey fan, I think he certainly fits with this style and let’s admit it these songs are all quite good. Studio Quality 9.5 - This collection was interesting to me because it featured a lot of music I was unfamiliar with, so there is seemingly endless amounts of it but that is fine with me! Studio Quality 9.7 - Another fantastic collection of stuff Prince did in his studio and on air with disc 2 being the unreleased Milk and Honey album with Tamar.. What struck me about this particular set is right off the bat, the first track on disc one just blew me away. It’s an extended remix of Computer Blue with the sickest guitar, a real grinding, psychedelic and metallic tone that he squeezes to maximum effect and doesn’t want it to end. Neither did I!! Soundboard 9.2 - These are great but Prince himself mixed them hot and put them out exactly as you hear them. These recordings are going to probably melt your speakers, the levels are really pushed all the way up just to the breaking point. Still, to my ears I like what I am hearing. Prince Rehearsals 2012/2013 1. The Dance Electric 2. Mutiny - Ice Cream Castles 3. Days Of Wild & Loose 4. Old Friends 4 Sale 5. Dark 6. I Like It There 7. Bambi 8. Let's Go Crazy (Reloaded) 9. Studio Quality 9.7 - Here is Prince’s rookie card! It’s quite interesting to hear, a pretty well rounded set of recordings musically, with maybe that late 70’s dated sound (still red hot) but it’s hard to say if I heard it in 1977 would I have thought this artist would develop into such an immense talent. Husney Studios Rehearsal Room Minneapolis 1977 Tracks 1-8 all instrumentals

Studio Quality 9.5 What a great set this is! I love being able to hear this full range of material spanning the musicians career. Studio Quality 9.4 - Some variation in the quality (there are some rare nuggets here that aren't as shiny but certainly still very good) but this is all great, and there's a few live recordings mixed in so it is not completely an outtakes set. Each disc spans a certain time frame, so you can follow along with the progress over the decades. Nicely compiled! 1967-1971 1. Kids And Dogs 2. Lady Friend 3. 49 Bye Byes 4. Guinnevere 5.
