• OK City - Soundboard 9.6 - Excellent from the start, with a great tonal quality that brings out tremendous detail in the guitar. This board tape manages to not sound like a "bored" tape! New York - Soundboard 9.4 - A more toned down, warmer sound than the OKC, this board tape focuses on the band as a whole. The sound is full, rich, and inviting which presents the listener a choice: do you like the more "live" sound or do you prefer an almost "studio" like quality in a live recording? I would opt for a healthy combination of both I suppose.

  • Audience 9.3 - This glorious tape is full of greatness in that it is lively, full-bodied, clear, and close without distorting. A gut-punching kick drum and soaring above your head lead guitar, and the kicker is the audience reacting after each song - respectful applause and never interfering with the music (as it should be).  What a show! • Brand New - The warriors preforming in front of one of the most affectionate metal fans in the world, the Greek fans!!!!!  Stunning live performance!
  • Brand New - The final two shows (both incomplete but together making a complete set list from this tour) feature the familiar Abilene, TX. soundboard and a relatively new tape to circulation - the St. Petersburg, FL. show (a week after Abilene) and it too is a soundboard.
  • Brand New - Soundboard recording live at Volksbildungsheim, Frankfurt, Germany on 19 December 1985. Great show!
  • Brand New - A 1987 broadcast of Lizzy Borden in their natural habitat “the stage”. Reading UK 1987
  • Brand New - Great live recording of a Texas show in 1982. Judas Priest at their peak! A must have!
  • Brand New - Soundboard/Studio Quality -Live at Hammersmith Odeon & Friday Rock Show Session the two recordings made for BBC in 1984 by Gary Moore. The Hammersmith Show is a fantastic Gary Moore show full of energy and classic tunes. The sound quality is very good and the track list is a must! The Friday Rock Session is a 3 songs session (plus interview) recorded at the mythic Maida Vale Studios in London.
  • Brand New - The Celtic Frost demos from the Hellhammer days to 1985 and widely spread and are known to everyone! This demos\ unreleased collection includes a couple of songs from an album that Celtic Frost never released “Necronomicon”, the “Cold Lake” demos, the “New York City Demos” from 1992 and the famous “Nemesis of Power” demo sessions.
  • Brand New - Soundboard - Chris Barnes in his prime, this is by far the best Chris pro-recorded performance. Great sound, fantastic set list, a must!
  • Audience 9.4 - A delightful and warm atmosphere highlight this bright and well mixed concert recording. I struggled to find any reason to criticize it, but there are some occasional voices behind taper, and that is REALLY nitpicky. So, this is certainly a treasure of a recording and I highly recommend it. • Studio Quality 9.8 - Fantastic insight into the working progress of a masterpiece album. One thing that stood out for me was listening to the drums, they aren't exactly going to be the biggest takeaway when considering the performance as a whole but when they are dissected and highlighted you really understand the craft that goes into it. Let's put it this way - the drums aren't just being banged upon, they are being played. • Audience 9.2 - The first thing that hit me with this recording is the lovely feel of it, silky and round with a solid "thwack" of the kick drum to make you remember what it's like to stand in front of the mains at a stadium rock show. • Audience 9.4 - Well done, a consistent and even quality, captures the feel of the venue and since the equipment used seems to be very high quality, it allowed for plenty of headroom in the recording and that allows the listener to adjust volume and EQ to suit their tastes...not that it needs much. • Audience 8.8 - It's kind of a good thing that this concert is performed acoustically because the way this taper captured it I can't imagine an electric guitar, bass, and drums with the massive volume it would have been. That is because this sounds like taper was very close, and the hall acoustics are very "live", so, in essence because it is acoustic it isn't a loud, distorted mess...but could easily have been if this was any louder or closer to the stage. It's just at the breaking point volume wise, and there's the slightest touch of distortion affecting one frequency somewhere in the upper mid-range, this came close to being a problem but is thankfully kept at bay and never rose above the level of "minor annoyance" so all-in-all this becomes quite a keepsake memory for fans as it is a highly unusual type of gig.

  • The Houston Punk/Grunge rock scene of the late 80's and early 90's produced a very diverse and highly talented assortment of bands spawned inside the 610 Loop surrounding the downtown metroplex. Chief among those was a ferocious punk rock (or better, "Burly Pig Rock") band called SPUNK. Fronted by Tod Waters, a mercurial character with non-stop energy, talent, and bravado who to this day still creates dynamic rock and roll (as evidenced by the newest release of his current band DIE FAST). This new release features a pair of never before available soundboard recordings from the downstairs room at the legendary Fitzgerald's Club.
