Soundboard 9.4 - Anytime you can find a soundboard of this band you really ought to grab it. I think it allows the listener to get all the nuance, the sound effects so-to-speak that make Ghost a little bit better than the competition. Plus the songs are interesting, and the voice is perfectly matched to the style.

Audience 8.8 - Big hall, with big hall acoustics, but it doesn't get too bouncy or verby, it's basically natural sounding if you can believe that. Audience 8.9 - A pretty good tape, the mix is very good, with good clear guitar and bass sitting just right, alongside the drums complimenting each other and not fighting for bandwidth at all. Vocals sit about all of it where they should be - all in all I like this one a lot. Ghost Göransson Arena Sandviken, Sweden 2025-05-23 Disc 1 01. Peacefield 02. Lachryma 03. Spirit 04. Audience 8.7 - It’s a small to mid-size venue and a loud all-girl metal band so the idea here is to just have some fun. If you are wanting pristine clarity and dynamics, you have come to the wrong place. If you want polished, precision metal, um, yeah, whatever pal. If you wanna rock with some veteran metal chicks and get sloppy drunk, well, step right up! -
Audience 8.8 - Loud keyboards and vocals, great drum sound at the large outdoor arena in Long Beach. Audience 8.4 - A muddier sound, not nearly as distinct as the Long Beach show but due to the scarcity of live Giuffria shows I would say this deserves your attention. On the positive, the guitar sounds pretty good and clear, and the drums are positioned well.Giuffria Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA 1985-02-01 01. Do Me Right 02. Don't Tear Me Down 03. FM Broadcast 9.0 and Audience 8.8 - Both recordings capture the band well enough to appreciate that they were at least attempting to craft their own sound and style. The FM is cleaner and better separation of instruments but the audience tape ain’t all that bad. Giuffria 2/20/85 Peabodys Down Uder WMMS Coffee Break Cleveland, OH 1. Do Me Right 2. Audience 9.5 - Beautiful sound, excellent performance. A venerable Italian prog band that achieved critical success by virtue of having composed soundtrack music for horror films in the 70’s. Audience 9.3/Soundboard 9.5 - Both audios are excellent, the audience source on Bonn is bright and very clear, and features plenty of dynamics supplied by the band. Golden Earring 17. Audience 8.1 - Tape is not clear but also not muddy, it’s just typical of early 70’s gear not being able to handle freakishly loud rock bands. This recording highlights drums, guitars, and bass and vocals are in the background. That being said, the drums and guitars are pretty clear, and there’s plenty of the dueling guitar pyrotechnics on display. I don’t complain to have this show to hear, it’s clearly worth it to the collectors out there. SDBRD 9.5 - both of these gigs are spectacular, for me they represent an all too brief high water mark for the band where things are unbelievably tight and incomprehensibly cosmic. If more people knew of this music's existence, this band's old catalog would go platinum today. GONG Europe 1975 Disc 1 La Celle St. Cloud Festival France June 8, 1975 1. Master Builder 10:18 2.
