Audience 8.6 This is a pretty common Who boot, and, well, it’s fine but to me I thought guitar was too low in the mix. It’s a rollicking good show, bass, vocals sound strong followed by Moon, and to be fair, during quieter parts Townshend’s guitar is clearer. It’s during the heavy parts where guitar loses force (it’s there, it’s not completely gone!) and probably it saves the tape deck from overloading so I’d rather it a little behind in the mix than completely distorting the tape. Soundboard 9.3 - A very well traveled tape, seeing release as a video, as well as countless boot CD’s. The video was so-so, the audio has always been great. The show itself, not their best, and not their worst. Is it essential?  It’s a great sounding ’76 board tape (the closing gig of the tour in Europe) so, my thought is that it should be somewhat necessary in the collection. Pro FM Broadcast 9.2 - Both sets are great, both in performance and sound quality.  Really great musicianship! I also found myself really enjoying the songs, since I was only very familiar with their evergreen hit “Green Grass and High Tides”.  I saw these guys in 1980 and they were great but I was so young I just can’t remember the songs. Soundboard 9.8 - There would be no reason why a professionally recorded Kraftwerk show should sound anything less than near perfect because let’s face it, unless you are a complete moron, it would be hard to screw up their mix. It’s pretty basic, and because of that what you have here is pretty darn good. This is the complete show from a radio programme called "We're Going Out Tonight" with no radio DJ talking over the music or tuning. Very likely recorded before being broadcast on the radio. Of special note is Florian's use of the Votrax VS-6 "Talking Typewriter" as Karl put it in his memoir for "Die Sonne, Der Mond, Die Sterne."

Soundboard 9.5 - Superb clarity and attenuation, especially where the high end is concerned. Very lifelike, no sign of radio compression which suggests this tape to be pre-FM broadcast.
