• Soundboard 9.9 - This nearly brought me to tears. I always knew this band could reach the highest level of quality, in performance, in tone, in showmanship, and here it is. Yeah, sure, I know what you are thinking: “it’s mid 80’s Aerosmith, it’s the doldrums of rock, it’s a washed up bunch of druggies” but I have to tell you that if this marks a “comeback” then it’s the most amazing comeback I have ever heard. I’ve heard tons of live Aerosmith and I take this show over ALL of them. Just listen to how everyone plays off each other, how well they know each other it's like the magic has returned and they know it. Aerosmith The Orpheum Theater Boston, MA. • Radio Broadcast 9.1 - A rare find, this is a band that can be best defined as an eclectic, world music progressive band that features some ethnic style music that occasionally fuses in some nice, tasty jazzy electric guitar rock stylings. • Audience 8.6 - A resurrected gem of a show, not killer sound as one might expect but it’s definitely not garbage. I started playing it and could not stop. It’s just one of those things that if you understand you are listening to something that should not exist in the first place, that sounds reasonably good given the time and circumstances, and delivers in every way for performance and historical accuracy (live performance being about the most realistic snapshot of a particular performer at that time) well then you will appreciate what this is. • Studio Quality 9.7 - Here is Prince’s rookie card! It’s quite interesting to hear, a pretty well rounded set of recordings musically, with maybe that late 70’s dated sound (still red hot) but it’s hard to say if I heard it in 1977 would I have thought this artist would develop into such an immense talent. Husney Studios Rehearsal Room Minneapolis 1977 Tracks 1-8 all instrumentals
  • Audience 8.7 - There are more recordings of this band pre-1983 that post, which I find rather odd. I found this recordings to be adequate to hear what they were like in 1983, and they were good, but the recording does not highlight the vocals, rather on guitar and drums which is fine but I love this band’s vocal acrobatics and want them front and center. • Audience 8.8 - A fierce sounding tape that has been re-mastered and shows some depth and instrument separation that previously was not there. The vocals at times are drowned out in the sheer onslaught of bass, drums, and guitars. The band even reminds a little of Deep Purple (check out “Every Hungry Woman” as a prime example) with keyboards featuring prominently so be ready for what is best described as heavier than normal Allman Brothers. • FM Radio Broadcast  8.9 - This is not a typical radio broadcast, it is very raw and in-your-face loud!  That makes it much more enjoyable to me. The kick drum and bass are nicely present in this mix – but are not boomy or obnoxious so this is a great way to hear instrumentation normally not very defined. This helps make this show sound even heavier now that a solid bottom end is going on. Iron Maiden "Maiden America" Summerfest Henry W.
