Sale!Audience 8.7 - An interesting tape, the recording is very lifelike and captures one of the best keyboard dominate performances I have ever heard. What I mean is, the keys really come to life on this one, as opposed to being merely “sound effects”, and the rest of the band is great too. A keeper!

Audience 8.7 - This is a very good recording that only needs more definition in the highs, but I still think this has to rank high in the pantheon of 1971 audience tapes. It’s a show that seems to invoke an almost reverential vibe in the audience, as they are quiet and respectful throughout but show bursts of appreciate at song endings. A good one, in many respects. Audience 8.7 - This is a surprisingly clear tape with a superbly detailed bottom end and would rate MUCH higher if the sound mix brought the guitar and keys up a bit more. These complaints are not the fault of the taper or his gear, but rather the actual PA sound mix at the show, which by the way is VERY good so do not be put off at all, it’s that my preference would be for more guitars.

Audience 9.1 - Excellent! Very clear, balanced, and lovely atmosphere. One that will get repeated play for sure. Audience 8.0 - A subdued recording that occupies a pleasant bandwidth for the ears but does not venture into dynamics high or low. It’s very interesting hearing these formative versions of Animals tracks, this recording does deliver enough clarity and separation of instruments to be able to appreciate the happenings on stage – and because Pink Floyd is not a “bombastic” band, you do get periods of music that rate in the mid 8’s so a good, not great, tape.

Audience 7.1 - A very subdued tape, and lots of hiss that at some points is cleaner so no real stress. It is reasonably clear in that you can hear everything, just sounds like it needs a kick in the mid range or some good multi-band compression. Interesting to hear these sort of stripped down Dark Side shows.

Sale!Audience 8.9 - A really cool recording in that keys, drums and bass sound right next to you but guitar swirls above them, and over your head, and around your ears… VERY nice atmosphere and picked up extremely well by the taper.
