• Audience  8.4 - A steady and powerful recording with emphasis on the keys. Not super clear, not even super dynamic, but the sound occupies a decent middle ground where everything can be heard with some good midrange punch. Worth having for sure!
  • Audience  8.0 - Very forceful and loud capture, some taper conversations present, but a very immediate live feeling as if this could have been taped a couple of years ago. Some high frequencies have a squelchiness to them, but when the band is all playing together the audio retains a more comfortable timbre. Overall this is pretty good stuff, and very heady music. I’ve heard people compare them to Pink Floyd, and to be honest I do hear that in some of their compositions, but that is not entirely accurate in describing them. Maybe if you said they were stylistically similar to PF but with a Deep Purplish ensemble approach to the sound, you would be closer.
  • Audience  8.2 - A good sounding recording if you want to just know what is happening on stage and don’t mind a perfectly balanced mix, or crispness in the highs. Some breaking up at volume, where the intensity of this band is just too much for the tapers equipment. Still, I have to tell you, there is reward in this tape if you stick it out. Not saying it gets that much better, but I am saying this is one GREAT rock band! Just overwhelming intensity, and interesting compositions, it keeps you interested to hear what happens next.
  • Audience  9.3 - Stellar sound, probably professional recording and mix.  (The Light Went On Again)
  • Audience  7.6 - Thin and mono. You will want to EQ this, but don’t give up on it completely, the set list is awesome, and you do adjust to the sound a bit.
  • Audience  8.4 - Very clear recording that sits just a little further back in the spectrum that I would prefer but that helps provide more atmosphere so that is the trade off. It’s a decent recording you can enjoy.
  • Soundboard - Pro Broadcast BBC  9.2 - Taken from a vinyl source, there are some noise problems but most have been removed in mastering.

    ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA – Pittsburgh 2019 (2CD)

Original price was: $23.49.Current price is: $22.00.
Audience 8.9 - Just the right amount of sonic clarity and separation of instruments with “live atmosphere” to make for a realistic listening experience. Sounds much like what you could have expected having been there. This was also the last show of the tour. Excellent!
  • Audience  9.5 - Superb in every way, probably a pro recording.
  • Audience 8.8 - This tape takes a minute to find a sweet spot, but when it does, it’s quite enjoyable with exceptional detail in the highs – and a good “thwacking” kick drum that anchors the whole thing. A good ‘un!
  • Audience  9.0 - Great definition and a solid spectral range if just the slightest touch of crowding in the mids once the band is full blast, but it totally rocks and you will love it!
  • Audience  8.5 - Clear recording that lacks a bit of upper dynamics but has good low and mid range, although not a super defined quality, but it’s a great recording to my ears.
  • Audience  8.9 - Superb detail, especially mids and highs which are spot on. Very lovely in all regards.
  • Audience 8.8 - A nicely atmospheric tape that is very clear, with pretty decent instrument separation and emphasis on vocals so you hear every lyric. Nothing is drowned out in this mix! Fabulous tape! ELO Anaheim Stadium Anaheim, CA. August 26, 1978 Disc 1 1. Intro 2. Standing In The Rain 3. Night In The City 4. Turn To Stone 5. Can't Get It Out Of My Head 6. Cello Solo 7. • Soundboard  7.7 - Tape shows its age, but the music is very listenable.
  • Soundboard  7.8 – 8.7 - A mixed bag, but all of it is decent and ranges to very decent.
  • Audience  7.3 - Don’t let the poor rating diminish what is a very rare artifact. No other recordings of this period exist, which is hard to believe. Coming from a master cassette, the sound is cavernous and not well defined, but it is also very clear which may sound impossible but it’s true. It’s clean, and not a complete waste at all. In fact, I listened to it, gave it a chance, and decided that it is acceptable for hard core fans who want to know what White Trash sounded like live, in Detroit, in 1977. And they were stunning, to be honest.
  • Audience 9.5 - Unbelievably awesome! Strap yourself in and get ready to hear just how insanely good a well done audience recording can be. • Audience 8.8 - This is the good stuff, seriously good I mean. What you are getting in this one is a band really unstoppable, with a monstrous hit in Frankenstein that the audience is going nuts for and for good reason – a penultimate version that will leave you completely floored. Very strong recording puts you in the action with a front row seat. I love it! • Aud/FM?  7.7 -  Hard to say really what the source is for this one. To my ears, it sounds like it was recorded for local broadcast, and being the year 1974 was probably sponsored by a local AM radio station It sounds like the engineers did spare the expense of the recording, so, yeah, it’s less than what you might expect of a broadcast.
  • Audience 9.7 - There’s no way this isn’t a professional recording, it’s too good and it doesn’t come across as a board tape but it could be, if they used some ambient mics and mixed that in but either way this is simply spectacular. If you are wondering how Eddie must sound now with so many years removed from grunge I have news for you – he sounds as good as ever and his band is great, and the songs he performs in his set are all great.
