Audience 9.0 - Excellent in almost every way, maybe a few annoying woos from the folks near the taper (maybe a lot of woos), but the fidelity here is really nice and warm. OK, let me be honest, that idiot woo hooing through several songs ruined this otherwise excellent show for me. -
Audience 8.4 - Pretty good stuff, once taper gets situated and gets his levels set. -

Soundboard 8.8 - A little thin to my ears, but is very clear and gets better once they sort out the mix. -
Hard rock group from Houston active during the mid 70's and were primarily known as a covers band, playing many of the well known clubs in town. They recorded a handful of original songs in 1975, and disbanded following some unfortunate incidents while on the road. A single 7" record was released, however, and gained enough traction that rhythm guitarist Jimmy Lee Dean decided to continue on and recruit new members (the era known as Jeremiah MK II). This version of the band recorded a full length LP which never saw the light of day as the manager absconded with the master reels soon after the sessions, and nobody heard from him since. Eventually, we rediscovered these masters and attempted to transfer them in the studio but the tapes had severely degraded, the material, such as it is, is also contained on this collection. A 40th Anniversary reunion concert occurred in 2014, and excerpts from that show are included on the 2nd disc. All known recordings of this band are included in this package. -
Debut LP from 1992 ~ Very Rare and sought after by many collectors. Another tight band pushed out by grunge. This band is Rock at its best. Once you hear this, you will not be disappointed. They should have received major recognition for their talent, but was seldom heard. -
Audience 8.5 - I guess if you want to know what this band was about in their heyday, and if you didn’t mind the fact that one of the few tapes in existence sounded like what your parents thought of your heavy metal noise…this is for you. It’s punkish, it’s brash, it’s snotty, it’s ramshackle, it’s amateur, it’s possibly a glorious mess…and they do Vegetable Man so they get high marks for recognizing what is great and what should be covered (that’s because they don’t have enough profound original music to offer at this stage). So, yeah, I suppose this is worth getting in case you A. want to discover this band and B. want to hear what they were like at the beginning. OK, last thoughts – want to know what it sounds like when a freight train begins to crash? In slow motion? Very nearby? Side Note: I liked their song "Taste The Floor" as it reminded me of early Kinks. Audience 9.1 - Taper is close to the action, and this gives the sound an exciting edge to it that pulls you in and doesn’t let you go. Guitar is palpable, drums are crisp and detailed, even organ sounds appear when a lot of other audience recordings seem to bury it. VERY cool and definitely a must have! Audience 9.3 - A brilliant, dynamic, and exciting recording that anyone could enjoy. I mean, this sounds like it could be officially released…not 100% perfect but I would not be as thrilled about it if it was perfect. I don’t need perfection, I need a good blend of excellent audio and nice atmosphere and this tape has that. Audience 8.0 - Very loud up front tape which gets a little crowded during intense jams but is actually my kind of audience recording. It seems to be more exciting and electrified when it is so close to the stage as long as it doesn’t distort I love it. -
Audience 8.7 - Amazing for such an earlier audience source. It does border on the ragged edge of breakup, but it’s so real, so close, so powerful, I mean you are literally there. Fantastic to my ears (some tape noise but it goes away when the band is cranking it). -
Audience 9.1 - A very bright and energetic recording that does NOT suffer at all from anything getting in between the band and the microphone because there’s nothing between the band and the recorder it seems. This is direct from PA to your ears…and it’s great!
