An absolute beast of a canister! Loaded down with 14 discs, it's quite the experience as you follow the Who on tour in the States in 1980. For the most part, all of the recordings reside in the mid to upper 8's on the 1-10 scale, with a couple coming in at over 9.0 (Essen, for instance). All discs are Audience recordings of VERY GOOD quality. All sound bright, and with the exception of maybe one show (which sounds a little crowded up in the middle frequency), are pretty wide and clear. Having listened to all of it, I have to rate this set as spectacularly fun to listen to, it's just a really good time for the band who are riding high on their successes but not yet ready to relax too much. Having a good time, but meaning business too. Great stuff!
