  • All discs are Audience recordings of VERY GOOD quality. All sound bright, and with the exception of maybe one show (which sounds a little crowded up in the middle frequency), are pretty wide and clear. Having listened to all of it, I have to rate this set as spectacularly fun to listen to, it's just a really good time for the band who are riding high on their successes but not yet ready to relax too much. Having a good time, but meaning business too. Great stuff! YES – Decades 1970-1980 (Deluxe Metal Canister 11 CD)

Original price was: $85.00.Current price is: $70.00.
This set was assembled with both the hardcore collector and casual collector in mind. The variety of material that will appeal to longtime Yes collectors is the immediate standout feature, aside from the beautiful design of the canister itself. Now, let this be the one and only disclaimer: The inclusion of the Dallas 1972 show, even though it may be considered below the high standards set by collectors of this venerable progressive rock band, was too important to not acknowledge here because, as you know, we lost Alan White not that long ago and the Dallas '72 gig was his first with the band. It's also kind of interesting to hear how well he did with only a couple of days to learn the challenging material. The rest of the set is an excellent combination of stuff guaranteed to keep you interested throughout the entire set. Highlights include the new to circulation Providence 1976 which is an excellent sounding tape, and the demos/alternates from Time And A Word. ELTON JOHN – The Seattle Tapes 1972-1975 (Deluxe Metal Canister 10 CD)

Original price was: $80.00.Current price is: $70.00.
The set features outstanding quality audience recordings made between 1972 and 1975 at the Seattle Coliseum. The quality encompasses not just the audio fidelity but the completeness and smoothness. All in all this is surely one of the best collections of live Elton John I've ever heard.  The price has risen slightly to accommodate the upgrades that have been applied to not only this but the entire line of canisters. I think you will totally be blown away when you see the difference, and the previous ones were pretty impressive so this is going to really be something special. THE WHO – 1980 Tour (14 CD Metal Canister)

Original price was: $95.00.Current price is: $80.00.
An absolute beast of a canister! Loaded down with 14 discs, it's quite the experience as you follow the Who on tour in the States in 1980. For the most part, all of the recordings reside in the mid to upper 8's on the 1-10 scale, with a couple coming in at over 9.0 (Essen, for instance). I found it to be very satisfying as all of the songs I enjoy hearing them play are represented, without the overindulgence into Tommy...finally! A nice trip through the most important years for Chicago. All of the audio quality is either very good or excellent, with a mix of audience and soundboard sources. • A mix of various sources but I find overall quality to be very good to excellent. In fact, it's strange but there are better sounding tapes from '75 than there are for the following year. You'd think audio quality would get better each subsequent year...alas one only need to listen to most of the 1980's audience tapes to know that is simply not the case.
