Soundboard 9.8 - I remember a few of the radio hits this band had, but honestly I never gave them a fair shake. Now I know what I was missing. Damn! At times I even think this band may have studied Frank Zappa, their stage banter is the giveaway. Sound quality is exceptional. 10cc 1975 American Tour Santa Monica Civic Center Santa Monica, California, USA Wednesday November 26th, 1975 Track List: Disc 1 01. Introduction (1:31) 02. Audience 8.5 - A decent recording that stays pretty much in the middle of the spectrum in a mildly compressed fashion…so highs are not too high and lows are not boomy. That does take away some of the dynamics of the sound, but at least you get reasonably decent sonic clarity. 10cc Venue: Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan Date: 4 Oct 1977 Disc 1 1 -The Second Sitting For The Last supper 2 -You've Got a Cold 3 -Honeymoon With B Troop 4 -Wall Street Shuffle 5 -People In Love 6 -Band intro 7 -Art For Art's Sake 8 -Ships Don't Disappear In The Night (Do They) 9 -I'm Mandy Fly Me 10 -Marriage Bureau Rendezvous 11 -Good Morning Judge Disc 2 1 -Feel The Benefit 2 -Waterfall 3 -The Things We Do For Love 4 -I'm Not In Love 5 -Modern Man Blues Eric Stewart - Vocals, Guitar, Grand Piano & Keyboard Graham Gouldman - Vocals, Guitar & Bass Guitar Rick Fenn - Backing Vocals, Guitar & Bass Guitar Tony O'Malley - Backing Vocals (lead on AFAS), Piano & Keyboard Stuart Tosh - Backing vocals, Drums & Percussion Paul Burgess - Drums & Percussion -
Audience 8.8 - Tapers used good gear, because even though they sound middle of the venue somewhere, it is a strong capture giving nice depth and clarity. So, loads of headroom and atmosphere, a bit far back, but strong, clear, with depth all in all very nice. For those who do not know, this band is an offshoot of Roxy Music featuring Phil Manzanera and Brian Eno (Simon Phillips on drums).

Audience 8.8/Soundboard 9.3 - Very good audience source for the Philly show, perhaps maybe just somewhat lacking in bottom end and of course it’s denser than the clean channel mix of a board tape or broadcast but for 1984, I don’t know I think it’s pretty good. The Cleveland Agora show is excellent quality. Soundboard 9.7 - I give this a stellar and glowing review and consider it an absolute must have for any self-respecting ACDC….no, wait, any self-respecting rock music fan. Why? Because, even though the old tape has an occasional drop out (rarely), it is so fucking electrifying, exciting, and pure that you can’t help but bang your head to it…the entire show! The combination of the superb live mix that maintains 100% live energy, there’s no mixing the life out of this bad boy, and the amazing performance all contribute to must have status. I love how I can hear Malcolm so distinctly, and even the bass notes come through…but the drums, that insistent rat a tat snare just makes this tape a winner bar-none. The bonus concert on disc two is also a board tape, and it has a different feel to it but it is also amazing. Get it man!
