I especially like how the atmosphere of the event was maintained, it’s not a sterile sounding mix.   • Audience  8.8 - I like this in your face recording, sounds like taper is right in front of the mains but he’s got the levels dialed in just right. This is ripping, gripping, and tripping power prog metal of the highest caliber.
  • AUDience  9.4 - First thing you notice is that you hear every instrument CLEARLY, which is actually pretty damn unusual for a band that has so much going on and has to be a nightmare to mix clearly. Well, separation of instruments without loss of power is, to me, a great recording.
  • Audience  8.5 - A very clean recording that is not as clear as it is clean. Not to say it is muddy, it is saying there is a lack of defined high end, the recording rests mainly in mid range and low end, which is nice and round. I think by adding your own treble boost, you can turn this into a 9.0 recording. Needs upper mid and highs.
  • Dweezil Zappa Denver 2014 Audience 9.7 - Exceptional audio, this one has great balance of instuments, while the band is very tight.
  • Audience  8.9 - A great recording in almost every respect, in fact it is almost too clean! Wonderful.
  • Audience  8.6 - A touch on the thin side maybe, and sounds from somewhere in the middle of the venue so you do get more of the atmosphere. There is a lot of crowd excitement and participation. Guitar sound terrific actually, cutting through everything right to the ears in a good way, adding to the excitement. Dweezil sounds great and absolutely shreds this gig.

  • Audience  8.9 - Good clear recording where the highs have a pleasant chimy sound, not shrill or thin. The bass notes are very clear too.
  • Audience 9.6 - This one is crystal clear, a great mix full of vibe and energy on both parts. Guitar work/Well done.
  • Audience  8.7 - The levels here are low, but the sound is good all you need to do is turn it up.
