The whole set was then mixed & produced by Joe Kleon at G4orce Studios. Until today the idea of a live album remained shelved. -

The controversial Seventh Star sessions that saw Jeff Fenholt on vocals which was not the best fit for the band, however since he wrote most of the songs it led to an awkward situation and the project was shelved because Tony found someone he wanted to sing those tracks and it wasn't Jeff. Brand New - Def Leppard played a "Slang tour" show in Johannesburg, South Africa on 5th December 1996. 13 songs from the show were recorded for broadcast. The band played in front of 37,500 ecstatic and very loud fans. This was the first of three stadium shows played on the mini tour of the country. -
