Audience 8.5 – A total time capsule, I mean, if you want to know what the 70’s sounded like just pop this CD in. Kind of dated but hippie cool. Sound is good, but a little crowded in the middle and raucous in a fun way. Your ears will bump into the guy next to you, and you’ll be pushed and shoved a little but man, you are at the show having a blast. The thing about listening to mid 70’s live Aerosmith is you are always kind of tuning in to hear signs of the impending train-wreck about to happen at any minute and I guess that is the charm of it. This recording is the train wrecking, but as I said it’s in a pretty phun way.
