AEROSMITH – Detroit & Anaheim 1976 (1CD)

$16.49

Audience 8.7 – It’s difficult to express sometimes to people who maybe did not start collecting until the digital age what it is like for us old cats to be listening again to a recording we first heard on cassette…and could barely listen to they were so awful, muddy, gen’d down, etc. – and now they show up like maidens to the prom. This old recording sounds like years of mud and grime were wiped away, still not great but man what a difference! The bonus tracks from Anaheim got the same treatment but the original tape was recorded from further back so is not as good as the Detroit, but historically seems more important being that it is with Jeff Beck. I think this stuff here is like finding unpolished diamonds…maybe a little bit dirty but they are invaluable and hold beauty in and of themselves.
