Audience 9.1 – This is a very cool old tape, first I have to issue a disclaimer: If you don’t like deep, round, brassy bass you won’t like this recording. Bass is the star of this show, and I don’t mean it’s a low end muddy mess either – it’s a beautiful bass sound that pretty much drowns out most of the keyboards (not entirely) and at least vocals area able to hold their own in the mix. That all being said – this ROCKS! I love it, I love hearing the tone and detail of the solid bass work of Greg Lake. Put this up there with your other favorite ELP boots because this surely will become one.
