EMERSON LAKE & PALMER – Charleston 1973 (2CD)

$23.49

Audience 9.0 – The only thing keeping this from attaining legendary status is the slight distortion present in a very specific middle to upper band in the frequency range. It’s not a deal-breaker, it’s in a place where you still get all the richness of the low end and the detail in the high end. The taper obviously used very good gear, so maybe the microphone he used and the location in the venue perhaps limited the recording in a way, because this is still a damn good tape but could have been a bona-fide must have.
