Boston 1970 Audience 8.4 – The separation of instruments here is rather dense, not muddy, just not to a degree one would prefer. The sound itself is not bad, I actually do hear every instrument I just want certain things prominent when it comes to this band…I really need more detail in the guitar solos. I still think this is a good one for the collection – the band is not afraid to stretch out and jam, they have tremendous freedom onstage and it shows.
Los Angeles 1970 Audience 9.3 – This is a sparkling recording, my guess is that the same crew that taped the infamous Zeppelin Blueberry Hill did this as well. To me it sounds similar. It’s short, but it’s very very sweet.
