KISS – Providence 1979 (1CD)

Audience 8.0 – You are probably wondering why I am including low rated recordings here, especially Kiss…well you may have a point but here’s the thing: This site is for ALL collectors, and the reason this show is listed here is because it circulated for years in unlistenable quality (below 7.0), but thanks to modern technology it is now listenable. It’s from perhaps one of their best tours, musically speaking, and needed an upgrade so bad!  So, for the casual fan I would say pass, but for the Kiss collector who knows how bad this show sounded and wants to throw away that old CD, I would recommend this 2020 re-master. Still kind of rough but there is now music here instead of an insufferable wall of distortion. I am not 100% sure but I think the big thing about this show among collectors was the inclusion of the song “Move On” to the set list, perhaps only performed this one time.
